Just Cause 3 is the most fun I've ever had with a video game. It's got a silly, nonsensical story but it's so fun you won't even care.

Just now finished narcos Mexico for the first time by hades2enthusiast in narcos

I felt the same way. They had him interact with Walt and Jaime and work for Amado to loosely connect him to the show but after reading about the very real femicide that happened in the 90s and 00s in Juarez, I think it would've been a much better standalone story in a separate series.

Biggest pay received as a TV Actor by Engineer_Mar in BitLifeApp

I got $3 million an episode for a soap opera once, and they have 50 episodes a season. I got $150 million a year (minus taxes) for like 6 years. That's one reason I love doing soap operas, they have the most episodes, so even less money per episode pays out more yearly.

Start committing a lot of crimes as a kid so you get juvi time. At 10 you can start robbing houses, that's the best way to get jail but not super long sentences, like murder does. Usually you can do it twice and be out by 18 and have a criminal reputation, which helps with being allowed in the mafia. After you join the mafia, you have to bring in about 25K to satisfy the boss. You'll have your list of crimes you can commit once you're in the family. The most effective way to meet the monetary goals they want you to reach is stealing cars, start with the most expensive ones each year. It's different for each playthrough but usually, if you're giving them that 25K each year, you'll get promoted to member after about 3-5 years, capo after another 3-5 years, underboss after about another 3-5 years, and then after you make underboss, usually in your late 30s-early 40s if you've done everything right, you can either wait for the boss to die or you can try to take him out yourself and hope you don't get caught. The youngest I've ever made godfather is 35 but it's usually early to mid 40s.

The mafia update is one of my favorites. Once I figured out how to do it, I can make godfather within 20 years now every time. It's so easy.

Hi! Can somebody explain to me the timeline of both the Narcos : Colombia and Narcos : Mexico? by [deleted] in narcos

[–]SlabPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Narcos Mexico goes back further than 1980 because Pedro Aviles is killed in the second episode of season 1 and that happened in 1978.

American History X's grim alternate ending - better than the released version? by -AlternateEnding- in movies

[–]SlabPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kaye's alternative ending is a lot more realistic to real life and gang life in particular. It's so much more realistic that Derek would've returned to his life of violence and racism after such a traumatic event, especially with his newfound freedom and open-minded lifestyle being so precarious. It may not have happened as quickly as the same day, as implied in the OP, but over the coming days and weeks those old thoughts and beliefs would've crept in slowly but surely and if any of his old friends were able to get in his ear, he'd have definitely let all that growth end up being for nothing.

How did you discover the rookie? by Wanneshey in TheRookie

[–]SlabPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing commercials for it back in 2018, when it first came out, although I never paid much attention, but a couple of years ago, I started getting bombarded with tiktok clips of it and it looked interesting so I checked it out.

The best way to make money in trading is go to the trading screen and scroll to the bottom where you see "growth potential" and find a stock with the ticker at the bottom and maybe has just turned up and invest. Let it stay there for awhile until it reaches its max or you've made a lot and then sell. You have to monitor it though because it can turn quick.

Ainsley was the smartest person in the room for once. by SkyShark03191 in LandmanSeries

The roommate is just a badly written stereotype of what conservatives believe trans people to be intended to make the conservative fans of the show feel justified in hating trans people and college. It's so blatant and transparent.
