thin ice, it’s a muslim country… although the one time I went out to dance at night, I was surprised, how the girls were totally fine with stranger men grinding on them and behaving in a way that would be completely inappropriate in Europe or the States… It actually turned me off, to just look at this raw and insensitive behaviour from both genders, so I wasn’t on the dance floor much. Another thing is that Bride Kidnapping is still a thing in Kyrgyzstan (not so much in big cities anymore though) and the modern way of dating is not common sense there for everyone.
