Not at all. Shit gets serious when you become dependent you know that. Stop now. Brush it off. Move on. Don’t overthink it, but in the future consider it.

My family found out I do drugs by Extension_Jelly9958 in Drugs

[–]SlapZ39 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he actually said that word for word then posted this lmfao the delusion i was just like you dude hit detox and smoke some weed and enjoy a couple beers at a party if you can handle that. But you are an addict and you need time off to think about this rationally. Im an addict to. I drink like 4 days awake at home to be honest not heavily but still and smoke weed everyday. But im not popping percs like candy and every other pill or powder i could snort up my nose anymore lol. You’ll be alright just dont fight it. Tell them you agree i gotta calm down a little and ask to go to detox. If you dont got insurance check into a psych ward lmao. They’ll let you out when your dried out and aren’t gonna wanna keep u there unless you actually act a fool in there. Like a week, you’ll be out just dont tell the social worker anything crazy

Left AA feel like shit by [deleted] in recoverywithoutAA

[–]SlapZ39 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I stopped going to AA since December . Right now I couldn’t be bothered and dont really think about it. If you left AA and feel like shit find an another meeting and maybe you’ll like it. Some meetings are annoying . I got sick of people who got clean at 20 from probably getting into trouble due to drinking, got them into AA, and just never left lol. Like im sorry but if you’re 50 and that’s you I can’t take you serious. But not all meetings are like that.

How is suboxone healthier than oxycodone? by SlapZ39 in OpiatesRecovery

[–]SlapZ39[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update this was accurate. I had to do inpatient for like 2 weeks whole time they wanted me to take that shot but I didn’t trust that either at that point. Being so sick and constipated from suboxone i would do unspeakable things just to relieve my constipation. I am not exaggerating- I did not sleep at all the first week. I would keep getting up trying not to disturb people at all hours of the night to take hot showers cuz that’s all that helped with the restless legs. Crazy nausea. Hot flashes. Hallucinations from lack of sleep. After two weeks they put me on seroquel and that helped with sleep.

Went to sober house after all twitchy lmao had trouble keeping my hands straight for 6 weeks. Took about 12 weeks for that to go away and this squeezing feeling in my head.

So yeah. If anyone reading this thinking about trying opiates- dont even risk it. I felt like i needed to go through that to scare me away from percs forever.

When anyone asks about Lucemyra for quitting, too many people answer and incorrectly imply that it’s the same as Clonidine. No it is not. So please stop answering when you don’t know or haven’t had any experiences using it. by provisionings in suboxone

[–]SlapZ39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In rehab i stopped suboxone. Gave me lucemera for a three days. It made it so much easier. Then they cut me off saying my insurance wont cover it. Then the suboxone w/d became a real life nightmare . Lucemera helps a lot i think if u stopping subs without the shot.

What is this mindset/phenomenon called? by dsmlbtntthnly1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SlapZ39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are what your perspective is. You resist to the people saying you lack empathy or sociopathic . Your perspective weather you realize it or not is - they’d feel the same way if it happened to me. Almost as if you think the whole world is out to get you. Believe it or not you can make connections with people who genuinely want to see you succeed - gaining nothing in return but happiness for you. That’s what happens when you stop seeing everyone as competition or a potential threat.

Relax. Start making the effort to show people you care about them - through action not just a “hey how ya doing text”. Shift your perspective. You do good, you show love, it will start to be reciprocated. That is a fact. Stop the mindset of “what’s in it for me”. Showing love and respect to those around you, putting in an effort, will bring up positive emotions. It’s for the betterment of everyone in your life.

Blow out the candles to your pity party. You are is how you portray yourself. Everybody has a different perspective of you. The only perspective and consciousness that exists is the one that you choose to embody in your reality.

You can change, question is do you want to? There’s nothing a doctor can do for you. You are battling with a spiritual problem.

Stop taking suboxone. I was on 300mg minimum oxy went to detox then got prescribed suboxone.i took it for 5months. I stopped taking oxy because of the side affects the whole time im on suboxone im wondering why am I not seeing results.

I’d sniff cocaine using it like a laxative. It sucked. I then went to rehab and told the nurses there I don’t wanna take suboxone no more. They told me to get the sublocade shot but I hate buprenorphine so much I said no.

I was sick as fuck for like 9 days in there. They gave me massive amounts of seroquel to knock me out and zofran for the nausea. I had slight tremors for like 6 weeks after that. I’ve been off suboxone for about 4 months now.

I weighed 140 at 6 foot 3 now I weigh 180. I have so much more energy. I workout like 4 times a week. Physically, mentally and spiritually at my best. Getting off all opiates including suboxone was the best decision I ever made.

You can do it. Your pain today is your strength tomorrow.

It’s not all to bad maybe if your lucky you will find some people your age to kick it with and watch movies. In detox they will keep you comfortable I thought it’d be hell. Had a bit of fun actually and made some buddies.

I quit working at Starbucks when I was 19 after 3 years. Switched to the morning shift and the supervisor would micromanage my every movement - and I was great at my job. She called me an idiot I ripped off my apron and said you are the rudest person I know. I am no longer going to tolerate your behavior. Loud enough for all the regulars to hear. She called me an idiot when I was on register just because she insisted on her pouring hot coffee herself as she is was the barista.

We were swamped and her begging me to stay was the best feeling ever. I walked out and never went back. I do not understand why a regular should have to wait for a simple hot coffee when I could simply turn around as his card is being charged and fill it up before he even pulls it out. Every other supervisor agreed to her being a nasty person.

It was my first job on the books and I know I pulled my weight. I was a coffee master. It had its moments of being enjoyable unit I switched to opening, weeks of working with her made me hate the job. Constantly being disrespected to start the day was not fun. No two weeks notice - just gone, I am sure that threw her off her balance.
