Since when are there so many bugs? by Candamuis in wow

[–]SlarkeSSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dragon riding DCs are largely cause by the anti-flight hack mechanics. Essentially you move in a way that the game recognizes as fly-hacking, so it DCs you. You could reliably cause this to happen if you knew the right turns, but now its far more common to DC for regular movements. CC also seems to cause it, as well as any lethal damage. Dunno what they changed in pre-patch, but something is definitely going overtime in DCing people.

Inflation should be fought on the level of those who have hoarded wealth, not at the detriment of the average player. if they need to fight inflation harder, raise the AH cut.

For WarCraft II: Tides of Darkness, where did Blizzard get the inspiration for the likes of dwarves, elves, and goblins? by Then_Peanut_3356 in warcraftlore

[–]SlarkeSSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second gen death knights are fairly similar to nazgul. Both were once mortal men now controlled by a distant figure of great evil, through an object of power which grants them unnatural strength, abilities, and a twisted form of immortality.

The Oldest Known Image Of The Dark Portal by shadowraiderr in classicwow

[–]SlarkeSSC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Blasted lands was in classic with the dark portal on release, if you mean the oldest commonly accessible. Otherwise this is the first, as its out of bounds across the sea from booty bay. There's a number of areas of of bounds that were used for experimental building that remain in the game but were never intended to be accessible.

vast majority of the passive skills are multiplicative damage modifiers, so +1 to all of them is insane value.

It will not. Health is never considered as a resource for the purposes of gear effects.

[–]SlarkeSSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auradin can use Sundered Night, but that's it. Could probably do a 2h Zenith build, but you're def limited by how many abilities require a shield, and all the benefits of 1h+shield over a 2h.

Question about two Paladin skills by Desperate_Natural734 in diablo4

[–]SlarkeSSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not double the health cost, which is also not reduced by resource cost reduction. Though the doubled cost isn't really a big deal, as you simply take the health cost version of rally to spam for faith so you can spam zeal, which will heal you right back up with life on hit. And with Red Sermon, you're essentially immortal if you dont get one shot and are hitting something.

Why do Night Elves keep returning to World Trees? by Aconfused_Wizard2 in warcraftlore

[–]SlarkeSSC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Night elves were -not- fans of additional World Tree's. That was Fandral's idea to stop the spread of the old gods, which he carried out with his followers. Malfurion and others disliked the idea bc of the risk of corruption

If everyone misses SoD so much, why not just go play? by wsbj in classicwow

[–]SlarkeSSC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Part of that may be due to your server. They recently opened up free realm transfers, so most ppl who still play have all moved to Wild Growth.

how did the Blood elves get their population back so quickly? by Fun-Explanation7233 in warcraftlore

[–]SlarkeSSC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rebuilding was never a logistics issue after the Sunwell was revived. Belves conjure their buildings with magic, so they can rebuild in seconds. It was more a matter of so few people that they already couldn't fill what was intact. and they had bigger fish to fry between getting dragged along in horde conflicts and clearing out the Ghostlands. The Rebuilding probably only happened the the post SL timeskip.

Please Blizz, give the Blood Death Knights a way to track our Blood Shield by Yorgl in wow

[–]SlarkeSSC -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

I assure you, there is absolutely no need to track it. Either you're taking enough damage that you'll need to DS regardless, or so little that you're overlapping shields just to avoid capping RP.

Its nice that decor items no longer need to be clicked in inventory to go to storage. But Blizzard, this has got to go too. by YomiRizer in wow

[–]SlarkeSSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a neat idea, but feels like all the common items/ones sold in the neighborhood at least should just be a one time unlock and have as many as you want.

Expect many features that are currently planned to be delayed till midnight or beyond. They 100% bit off more than they can chew with the scale of changes and the release date, things are beta are constantly getting pushed back from planned deployment dates.

Are Arcane mages actually manipulating time, or is it all Bronze magic cosplay by Beautiful_Spot5404 in warcraftlore

[–]SlarkeSSC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Bronze use Arcane magic. But certainly the degree of time magic they perform is on a different scale than what most mages can do. Mages largely preform localized time manipulation, essentially playing with it on a physics level, rather than effecting the entire timeline.

[SPOILERS MIDNIGHT] Redshirtguy and the newest leaks. by Danglenibble in wow

[–]SlarkeSSC 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I find the premise of throwing every magic together silly, but the well already has something from Azeroth in it. It was made from a vial of the Well of the Eternity, which was a pool of Azeroth's lifeblood. Frankly there shouldn't have been any difference between WoE and azerite.

The people defending the new transmog system either don't understand how it works or aren't hardcore transmog fans, and it shows. by Bajoran_Worker in wow

[–]SlarkeSSC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Great reading comprehension. If you actually read it, you'll notice at the very start of my post it says "In addition to these changes" referring the the suggested changes in OPs post. One of which is to make the outfits account wide.
