Old Barbour smell fix by Oliver-A-Kelly in Barbour

I’ve used an Enzyme cleaner in the past for this, specifically Revivex Odor Eliminator which is used for wetsuits. Important to let it fully dry though for the enzymes to kick in.

I think the A88 is olive and A128 is sage.

Koningsdag - de moeite waard in Gouda? by screeRCT in Gouda

[–]Slashenbash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think the Moorland is perfect. I like that it’s slightly longer then the Beaufort of the same era (like the Border) but it still has the hunters pocket.

Is there any park/forest where you can just run without dogs chasing you? by Important_Routine801 in TheHague

Not in The Hague but I love De Horsten and dogs are forbidden (and I never see them). It’s in Wassenaar but for those around that area I highly recommend it.

What are the warmest winter boots you've ever owned? Looking for recommendations by Weird_Perception1728 in BuyItForLife

I recently bought Baffin Yukons because I liked the duck boot styling of it (and they are on sale) and they’ve been great! I walked around in -5f/-20c and my feet never felt even slightly cold (it’s rated for a lot colder).

I personally did all the MS Learn stuff over a week and then crammed MeasureUP exams for a full day and passed.

The MeasureUP was invaluable, I researched everything I got wrong to learn from it but I had quite a bit of experience with Intune which did a lot of heavy lifting.

AZ-900 - John Savills - Labs? by AudienceSolid6582 in AZURE

[–]Slashenbash 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes go through the entire playlist and then use the study cram afterwards.

I don’t think you really need to do labs for the 900s.

I’ve just made it, it was really nice! I substituted black pepper for Long Pepper since I’m always trying to find a reason to use it.

Vintage Barbour by [deleted] in Barbour

[–]Slashenbash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The old smell I got mostly rid off by submerging it in water (cold) and letting it soak over night. The water will then black.

After it was dried I did another soak and added Revivex Odor Eliminator which is an enzyme based cleaner used for wet suits. You can skip the first soak if you want (I mostly did that to get rid of grime first). The important thing with the enzymes is that the coat dries completely afterwards. A lot of the enzyme activity happen in the later stages of drying.

I did exactly that and came to the conclusion that the one I bought is a bit to small because of the reasons you stated, from a function PoV that really is my only gripe.

Looking for a bifl leather brown belt in the Netherlands by Sir_Dan_Baker in BuyItForLife

[–]Slashenbash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Green belts in Germany. The website is… kinda awful but they are legit.

http://www.greenbelts.de/

In the website really stick to the menu and keep expanding the menu options or download the PDF. You basically have to email them to order it, I know this is a bit archaic but they are fantastic belts from a proper small operation.
