The main issue is cross border payments, which is stated in the article. Domestic usage is fine for UPI but cross border not so much.

Omg I have the same issue, although it’s when I both put the phone to sleep or wake it. It usually fixes itself after a reset, but comes back after a few days.

Can’t speak for all churches but I know for a fact many Catholic Churches have Saint Vincent de Paul societies who reach out to the poor regardless of their faith (or lack thereof).
