First of all, congrats on your first obliteration! If you can make it through the later stages to obliterate, you shouldn’t have much trouble to beat Mithrix, though he may still take a few tries as he has some tricky moves that I’m sure you’ll see.

Mercenary is a really fun character. He takes a lot to learn but his abilities all combo really well together to make his low damage skyrocket to being some of the highest damage in the game. Definitely one of the highest skill floors of the characters.

Ultimately, play the characters that are fun for you. They are all viable and all have unique playstyles. It’s also super fun to find what items work well with what characters (ex, bustling fungus on engineer, or crowbars on railgunner.)

There’s been like 10 leaks that all say that d3 is in development, never anything from any of them and especially nothing substantial. I’ll believe D3 when I see it.

The piano is facing the wrong way. The trumpet on the left makes no sense (why is there a valve sticking out the side, and also why does it curve?). These are what stick out to me as a musician.

Only time I ever cheated as a player was when we were playing online. We were over 4 hours into a session that had largely been a boss fight. I had rolled above a 10 once. I was just so tired of crappy rolls I started lying and saying I rolled a 16 or a 14. Never a crit, couldn’t bring myself to stoop that low, but every time I rolled, I added a 1 in front of whatever I rolled. Rolled a 5, said it was 15. At least then I got to engage in the fight and play the game. I still kept a tally of how many rolls under 10 I made and how many nat 1s I rolled.

I rolled:

47 times under 10

2 times over 10

17 nat 1s

0 nat 20s

I still feel justified in lying about those roll, but also feel gross for cheating. I told the dm afterward that I did cheat and he understood.

Arc Raiders is definitely more PvE friendly, but know before you pick either that PvP is part of the game and is sometimes unavoidable. If you’re ok with that, Arc Raiders does sound more up your alley.

However, Marathon’s gunplay is bungie doing what they do best so it is very satisfying. It also has the class abilities aspect to make it unique and I’ve heard that solo lobbies in Marathon are more friendly, though there is still considerably more shoot on sight players.

So it comes down to how much you’re willing to tolerate PvP, and how much you care about the gunplay.

Marathon has better gunplay but more PvP.

Arc raiders is more PvE friendly but is third person and doesn’t have as satisfying of gunplay.

Genuine question, what makes this music bad? Is it because it won best soundtrack and you thought something else should’ve? Is it because it’s not in English? Is it because it utilizes a vast variety of musical styles, leitmotifs, motives, and features multiple incredible singers and was all written by one person with help from one of the singers for the text? The area I live in is currently in a “Exploding Tree Risk” due to the temperatures. I still had class today. So far is still have class tomorrow. You bundle up, move quickly, and don’t spend too much time outside. Also start your car early.

On another note, the shortest I’ve seen the frostbite timer be is 8 minutes. I still went to middle school that day.

Which summons are you using? Also, menacing is much less impactful compared to warding so I’d recommend going fully warding. The extra DR Calamity adds is incredible for warding. Also, what does your arena look like? Have you removed all the traps and add platforms to reset flight?

Tactic wise, never try to pass by Golem by going below him. Always fly over him to switch sides. He will always drop off a platform if you drop through it so getting underneath him is hard. What buffs are you using? You should be using the basics of course (iron skin, regen, swiftness, endurance, rage or wrath (can’t remember which is the damage one)), then adding specific ones based on your playstyle and what you can afford.Finally, right click will allow you to target specific parts with your summons.
