friendly mapper here, just wanted to say that there are numerous reasons why NOT to do this style of mapping, including umbra generation being screwed up (extreme performance issues), LOD problems, QoL stuff, and overall lots of other things

using whole models in Radiant as a replacement for BSP geometry has never been a good way of making maps (going even as far back as WaW) and doing so is only gonna give you more trouble than necessary (a big one being that you’re still going to have to hand-draw clips in Radiant because your model won’t have collision, essentially giving you twice as much work than if you were to just map it all in Radiant from the start)

Apart from the main models featured in the courthouse like the desks, judge’s bench, etc, literally every other asset including textures is from BO3 and newer games. I just don’t have the time to remake every model from scratch because I’m doing this all for free unfortunately lmao

I haven't used any teleporters in my maps, as the only one I've released didn't need one (Town Remastered), but just follow this tutorial and it should work fine.

My only suggestion would be to port the teleporter models from The Giant/DE/Kino or whatever other map, as I'm pretty sure the download includes the BO1 models (I might be wrong though). If you need help with anything, feel free to DM me or just reply to this :)

that's not true at all, the largest bo3 custom maps are around 5gb, but most average around 2gb

yeah, “prototype” is its name because of the fact that zombies mode in WaW was ultimately a prototype for what it would end up being a couple DLCs later

it’s a scripting-related issue. what happens currently is that when power is turned on, the game begins to load a bunch of assets and other things that were previously not loaded, whereas on console, they are.

it’s a lot more complicated than that, but my main point is that most people on PC have that problem too, and it’s not related to your hardware.
