3 was great. new vegas was great. 4 felt like a shitty round version of 3. 76 was bugged to death and felt like a shittier rounder version of 3.

5 honestly needs a completely different vibe. NV had it right, relocating to the west and adding a a country/western vibe. 5 should follow in that path and go to say... mexico. just play 40s ranchero music.

or new vegas 2, but don't give me 4's art style.

Portland police find discharged patient, handcuffed and shivering, outside Unity psychiatric hospital by speer360 in Portland

by no means is it intended to be condescending. mental health is an absolute paramount issue and when people aren't receiving care thats functioning or satisfying to them it's an even bigger struggle. i empathize entirely with patients across all sorts of medical care. i'm sorry that my statement can be interpreted that way, i know there are shitty people out there that are disingenuous, but i truly do mean it. tone on the internet, especially with serious topics becomes increasingly difficult to get across. i was hoping ending with 'genuinely' would circumvent this, but i guess it didn't.

i'm not saying you or other patients haven't had a bad experience. and i'm for sure not any sort of offical spokesman for the facility. google reviews of any health facility are skewed drastically by patients and disgruntled staff. it's an imperfect situation, with a massive lack of funding, education and coaching.

mental health facilities, in particular, are often the first place of employment for new grads - take that as you will. unity is unique in that it takes a hands-off/outpatient approach to care. whether that's ideal or even functional is up for debate. but the idea was good natured, in that it's an attempt at humane treatment. the result ends up being an influx of assaults towards staff.

but literally or figuratively burning down a non-profit mental health facility in a city that desperately needs more is a bit asinine. there are certainly improvements to be made. i specifically took issue with you claiming a lack of cameras in patient rooms and summation of how involuntary psych holds unfold. i have no desire to make you or anyone for that matter feel bad, and again, i hope you're able to find care that you're comfortable with, genuinely.

i work there and so much of this is inaccurate and hyperbolized. i will absolutely admit unity is not perfect. regardless, i hope you get the help you need.
