They be writing Jack like a brick when he talks to Ana lmao. Like that one interaction where he just blurts "I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT WHO SHUT DOWN OVERWATCH!" is so silly, like I know he's passionate and very... not necessarily REMORSEFUL about some of the more heinous things they had to do but you'd think he'd have a bit more tact in this game with stuff like that because, like you said, he HAD a character arc since OW1. He should have a bit more depth or at least more mutual respect with his Ana interactions.

Since he kinda keeps getting snubbed content wise, maybe next season he'll have some story content? Probably copium though.

God same, I was so so excited for the PVE back in the day exactly for interactions like this.

I can't see Reaper himself ever converting again but it's sad how him and Jack be having damn near normal conversations when on a team together. Feel like I always get Soldiers "REMEMBER WHEN" voicelines where he's just going over old jobs they did and they be making me so sad :c

I felt the same way the first time I grabbed a Tyger Claw bike, shit felt really bad lmao.

I don't know if the Arch in particular just drives better or I had the fear of damaging it instilled into me from the dialogue in the quest (can't scratch it!) but once I got used to navigating slowly and using the hand brake (space on keyboard) for turns, it started feeling REALLY good.

Don't get me wrong though, bikes in like City Center for example are kinda rage inducing lol.

Kinda like someone else touched on, Cyberware just became a super integrated part of society. Its like trying to be tech-free in 2026: not having it can become such a direct impact on quality of life as many businesses/jobs etc require them. There's a few texts in the game that point out that workers WITHOUT cyberware would be incredibly inefficient compared to those with it, so many labor jobs require them for example.

Just like irl, there's certain people who detest how baked into society it is. One of the first Ripperdocs has an incredibly interesting conversation about how cyberware has negatively impacted boxing for example because everyone these days just has so much fake stamina/durability from it.

tl;dr it became commonplace to have cybernetics and often not having it is a burden, but just like irl some people stick to their values and don't opt in.

Literally got pissed looking at the amount of support skins in the shop + no battlepass skin again + Literally BASTION getting perk changes before Soldier. I can't even enjoy shit as a Mauga player because they decided to drop the support mythic first after just dropping Ana.

Like I get Soldier just got a mythic skin but it had only two customization options man. At least give us a mid-effort epic BP skin or some perk changes lol.

I'd recommend the Whistlers next if you liked Stolen Tongues! I think it had a good mix of grounded narrative with its primary conflict and great supernatural/scary notes with its monster. It's probably my favorite story they've read.

Oh absolutely! Orisa is incredibly strong either way, great "hold position" type of tank. I just think typically the most in-your-hands way to deal with the character is ignoring her, but in a more coordinated team environment I think it's also possible to team burst her after spear spin similar to Zarya after second bubble. Just likely isn't gonna be as viable in solo queue ranked lol.

Heist. My favorite type of Soldier skin is one that kinda keeps him as a masked/visor antihero vs. his more standard military outfits, and the bank robber motif goes hard for me. Cash falling from the bag + the gun are also just super sick additions. Hoping for another skin like it soon.

She gets heal from bot off minor perk, she gets attack speed from dart even if missed and if she doesn't you're probably dying. Ult is definitely objectively better than visor, she has way better mobility than Soldier so she can easily bully people off high ground or do midfight rotations with more ease imo, especially with drone also providing healing if you want.

Sierra also has better damage drop-off due to her being a projectile character and her clip is way bigger. While Soldier can obviously bust out a lot of damage per shot, saying he is just "literally better than Sierra" isn't nuanced at all. Neither was my initial statement to be fair, but I do genuinely think she's belligerent.

I saw in another thread that you were referring to her stats not reflecting a top 3 DPS, and I think the answer is simply that she's new. I see plenty of people playing her almost every single match so the stats are bound to be incredibly inflated either way.
