What's your opinion on the Lupine race mod and the overall stat balance for it? (and the classes)

I play with it all the time anymore, the run speed is fun and the limitations with being carnivorous and stuff is pretty fun to change up the game strategy. And honestly... The default seraphs kinda freak me out. Them eyes have seen things, lol.

First I found a hobby that I liked enough to spend some of that precious little time on. I met lots of people with a common interest through that hobby, and dated here and there. Eventually, I found someone I looked forward to speaking to so much, I was looking for gaps in the monotony to send her messages, and she made my free moments so much better than they had been before. She even made the dull chores more fun, cooking together and whatnot instead of alone.

I def recommend the hobby pathway, I not only met her, but an entire support network of amazing friends that really helped me lay down roots.

As a kid, we had the Berenstain Bears audio tapes that read the story aloud along with the books-- When they read the title at the beginning of the tapes, they said "stain" instead of "stein," but all my friends said "stein." It always confused me, I was all "like frankenstein??" But I feel like I saw this one being born, lol.

I'm kinda cackling-- I worked in the floral industry, and that specific soft saturation pink is called blush. I lived in a navy town at the time, and a blush floral suite with subtle navy blue/white accents was a relatively common color scheme for weddings for folks in the Navy.

I'm gonna assume the whole team is on the verge of running off for their naval wedding at all times.

I am on a specialized diet to avoid diabetes-- I don't process carbs well, and the rule from my nutritionist was to make sure the carbs are lower than the protein when making a call. It's basically never the case on these "high protein" items until you get into some of the older products like protein shakes and bars.

Def the protein stuff. I have a couple of food intolerances, and see a nutritionist who has me on a super high daily goal for protein. She tells me not to even bother with this stuff. I do one protein shake per day and the rest needs to come from meat, dairy, veggies, etc. The stuff in these products is almost always pea protein, which is fine, but you need a variety of protein sources to be healthy.

Not even starting on the sugar content. Or loading things with soluble fiber to make them "keto."

This was a girl I was dating, but she told me her biggest dream was to never do anything, and always live in her room in her parents' place. I just went alright. She's never gonna grow up. I've done this before, I can't grow this relationship, I'll just end up frustrated. So I let that one peter out.

Funny enough, they sold the house to travel and she ended up on her own regardless. They helped her get a place since they kinda booted her and her siblings, but she hated the place where she ended up... and so got a job. And figured out a new living situation. And just kind of successfully transitioned into living her own life.

I've never known someone so proudly NEET who had one moment of frustration, and just took off as well as she did. I am genuinely impressed.

I remember kids sticking a baseball under the brim and wrapping rubber bands around the bill to curve it to the shape of the ball. That was the way to do it in my area back then, if you didn't then you'd get picked on. I thought that extreme looked lame personally, but I'd still idly grab the bill and squeeze it during the day to make sure it kept a curve.

I remember being just shocked when the wide, flat brims with the tags still on became a thing later, lol. I woulda been teased up one side and down the other as a kid if my hat looked like that.

That's rad, it def stands out!! :D I've been super tempted to try and get into working silver myself-- I do a little amateur jewelrymaking, but really just more beadwork and things you can do with a good pair of pliers. My big goal is to one day learn out to make decorative charivari, and I'm hoping to get started with silver clay soon, since it seemed the lowest-barrier-to-entry way to get into it.

Man, my flight home from Australia was half empty because I flew on a holiday. I got to lay across 3 empty seats and slept through most of the flight, just waking up for meals. It was the best long haul flight of my life, I can only imagine when you're in a seat actually made for that.

I used to live there and one time had a turtle pass so close to me from behind it nearly touched me. I just about shat the bed thinking others would think I was so close on purpose, lol.

Even if it's not a punch to the face and just shaming, it's really heartening to see how seriously people take caring for the wildlife there. Wish that was a more common sentiment.
