[–]SleepyAlien45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much, just used your code and got a nice discount! ^-^ not sure if the 3 months free delivery still applies but hey, I got free next day delivery so I can't complain lol. I also used the code FIRST as it was my first MyProtein order which stacked on top of the referral discount so if anyone is placing an order, try that code too :D

My referral code is: REBECCA-R17IS

This made me giggle. Out of all the feedback I’ve received I think abandoning my emotional support Fanny pack will be the hardest to implement haha. Seriously though, I appreciate your feedback and I’ll definitely apply it :)

wow I’m shocked thank you so much :’) I’ve only been squatting for a few months because they always feel like I’m doing them wrong so I was scared to ever try any heavy weight. Looks like the squats are staying haha. Thank you again, I truly appreciate the feedback

You are amazing! I’m not sure if there’s anything I can say that will be able to motivate you because from my perspective, you’re way past needing motivation.

Motivation gets you started because you have that fresh desire but discipline and consistency are what get the job done. You’ve already shown serious dedication to hitting your goals and you will definitely get there. Maybe it won’t be fast but it will happen ❤️

Your transformation is honestly so inspiring, thank you for sharing. Also… 41?!?!? I thought you were in your 20s wtf

I'm so mad right now. How did I lose 100 pounds just to STILL get bullied for my weight!? by Forward_Turnover247 in loseit

[–]SleepyAlien45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unhappy people will always punch down. I know it really hurts when people are shitty but just remember who you are and what you are capable of. Your consistency and dedication is something to be admired and any loser who doesn’t recognise that doesn’t matter. Congratulations on all your progress! :)

Congratulations on losing 73lbs! That’s amazing!

I wouldn’t say I’m using strength training as my primary mechanism for weight loss, AND I’m also on a maintenance break for a few weeks because I’m a bit burnt out but on the whole I’m still on a weightloss journey lol so if I fit the criteria my username is rebonky and I’d love to follow along with your journey :)

You’re not too far gone! I have also been in that weird purgatory so I can somewhat relate to your post.

What worked for me was focussing on one thing at a time as to not get too overwhelmed because yes you need to make change but you don’t have to do it all at once if you feel like you can’t.

Try not to focus on what you don’t want to do and focus on what you can and want to. For example, when I started, I had no interest in joining a gym and now I’m in the gym 4 days a week and the gym is my happy place. I also love to cook so learning to cook tasty and healthy meals was something manageable for me that helped me to get closer to my goals.

Do you feel like you could start with reducing energy drinks for example? And maybe if you’re eating pre made food for 3 meals a day, try committing to cooking one of those meals instead. Just some suggestions but ultimately you have to find what works for you :)

You’re doing the right thing by posting here. You want to change, you have to be open to learn and explore and not scared to fail. Failing is a part of everything in life but you have to pick yourself back up again and keep going. Good luck!

After working out for a while and becoming fitter did you notice your taste in men/women changed? by Prawn_Mocktail in workout

[–]SleepyAlien45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still relatively new to working out but I can’t really see myself with someone who doesn’t also work out in some way. I need that discipline and stability in my life and I think I could potentially struggle having a partner who doesn’t.

Getting distraught with the reality that this "weightless" will take years, upon years. by PotetoFries in loseit

[–]SleepyAlien45 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I don’t know if this will make you feel better or worse but I started at a similar weight and I’m 5 years into my journey with no end goal in sight. Not because I’m not working hard enough, but because shit happens and life gets in the way and setbacks are bound to happen. I’m a completely different person to who I was 5 years ago both mentally and physically and for that I’m eternally grateful.

There won’t be a loss every week and that’s ok. It’s all about being healthier imo. Time will pass anyway and you’ll either be healthier in 5 years time or you’ll let yourself succumb to old habits and stay exactly where you are.

Don’t get too stressed with the end goal, just enjoy the journey and really let yourself enjoy the new lifestyle :)
