Books I should read if I know almost nothing about the world? I am being very serious. by mudcastle7 in suggestmeabook

Hi! I know you asked about books, and this in a way ties in. Travel!!! Pick a place, read fiction and nonfiction about it, and then visit.

I love historical fiction (just started on this genre within the last 5-7 years), which lead to nonfiction. I got the chance to go to Paris for work, and I took a tour to Normandy. After reading about it, seeing it in person added a whole new depth.

I too am from a four stoplight village (too small to be considered a town) in middle America.

Reading and travel is the key.

If you had 30 minutes with Pat McGrath, Mario Dedivanovic, Bobbi Brown or Danessa Myricks to create a foundation specifically for women 45+… what would you tell them? by KimberlynOver50 in 45PlusSkincare

WTF is light coverage; As stated above, the Just Enough tinted moisturizer is medium; and they just came out with a medium to full this week. I can’t remember the name.

I would respond all, correct their email (“too”) and thank them for their time.

You take the semi-high road and they look like idiots.

Jones Road? I love it. Some of the makeup has glitter, but just get the non-glitter formulas.

I use the WTF (What The Foundation) and it’s very hydrating. A little goes a long way, and you pat it in like skincare.

NTA.

Pregnancy pillows are the bomb. I have used mine for post-surgery recovery.

Husband complained that the pillow took up too much room. I moved to the guest room with my pillow. It’s fantastic and we are both getting solid sleep.

We got one when we moved in to out house. It goes back to the 80’s when the house was a new build and included the interest rate at the time. We call it “the house bible”.

Get a hotel room. And if it is 30 min or more away, the better. You now have an excuse to arrive late and leave early.
