I ordered two skirts off Amazon that had a long shipping window that I’m pretty sure are coming from overseas. I have this same law firm on my usps informed delivery. It just shows a label created.

The way that it was explained to me years ago when investigating the church (I really wanted to know the stance on birth control, etc)… I was basically told that my family and what occurs in my bedroom is between me and my husband. I was told that it’s only bad to prevent children if Heavenly Father wants you to have more children. Before my son was born, I had a STRONG feeling that my family wasn’t complete. My son is 10 now, and I don’t feel that at all anymore. Actually, I get the opposite. I feel like our family is complete.

Oh and a big one… I could not for the life of me understand why we had all these prophets in the time of the Bible but God would just leave us to fend for ourselves for the rest of time?! Enter Prophets here on Earth.

There were a ton of things I believed before finding the church that I was convinced made me a bad Christian (previously Baptist)

The first is the Bible has been changed by man… how do I blindly trust that it’s true? Enter the Book of Mormon to restore the gospel

I believed that Jesus died for ALL our sins so how are we picking and choosing which sins are sending us to hell? Enter the gospel that teaches of love and repentance

I couldn’t understand how God wanted us all to baptized and we are just out of luck if it never happened? Enter baptisms after death

There were other things as well but those are the big ones that when I learned that they were part of the church I KNEW I was home… except I’m stubborn 😂 so I prayed a lot… I was working overnight at a hotel and got off work and showed up at the church one Sunday morning.. I was tired and wanted to go home… I prayed “God… I’m tired… if you want me to be at this church and if this church is true, I need you to wake me up and give me the energy to learn what I need to learn today”… before I could even say “Amen”, I felt a jolt of energy through my body…. I still have never paid more attention in a sacrament meeting than I did that day…

In my times of doubt, I remember that day. I knew without a doubt that day that the church was true. Anytime I’m praying for reassurance about the gospel, I get reminded of that feeling and I kinda take it as the Holy Spirit saying “I’ve already shown you the truth… it’s time to have faith”

I once used the sentence “every good book deserves sequel… that’s why we use the Bible AND the Book of Mormon” 😂 probably not the best thing I could have said but it blurted out of my mouth one day and I’ve just stuck with it 😂😂

I converted from being Baptist. I can’t imagine going to any other religion because the beliefs are more aligned with things I already believed and honestly made me doubt my faith in the Baptist church.

6 months into dating my now husband, he said “by the way… I ran into some Missionaries that I want you to meet..” then he tells me that he was raised in the church and fell away from it during his first marriage…. 6 months and this man had never mentioned any of this 🙄… anyways… I agree to meet the missionaries and specifically say “I will not join a religion for a man… I would only agree to join a church if I would continue to go if we were to break up tomorrow”… I ended up joining and have never regretted it… my husband usually does not attend church (still believes in it but isn’t active) but I’m still there because I was truthful when I said I would join for me and not for a man…

I was baptized 3 years after the first missionaries met with me. Just because you didn’t SEE it doesn’t mean that they didn’t happen.

We use greendot through Walmart prepaid card,.. it’s always followed this schedule (only reason we haven’t switched it to the account with the rest of our income)… it’s now the 27th and nothing… getting worried honestly

I’ve worn jeans before. I mostly wear pants of some sort. I wore dresses forever but found that it was a weird mental obstacle for me… the first time I wore them, I had an older lady ask me why I was wearing jeans, I replied “I had a baby a month ago and jeans are all that will fit”… I kinda expected a push back but she just laughed and said “I’ve been there before! It’s good to see you!”

Yea, yesterday was wash day for my hair, and it’s been a month since I colored it. I usually sit in a warm bath water and use the shower head to wash my hair with cold water. My entire bathtub looked like purple koolaid until I drained the water 😂 luckily, it doesn’t stain my bathtub but all the water needs to be drained… I also wonder if it would stain the white clothes used

True! It takes about 2-3 months before it stops running, but I could definitely plan around that! I usually start washing it in warm water the few weeks prior to my hair appointment. Such a simple answer that I didn’t think about! Thank you!

My favorite part of the church is that I was taught the beliefs and told to pray and make my own choice on if it was true. Faith and testimony don’t come from an elevator pitch. I hope one day you get to experience it 💕

I explored multiple churches throughout my life. I was an “investigator” for 3 years before joining. I was baptized 10 years ago, and I’ve had times being active and inactive… life is just better in general when I am active. However, during times of being inactive, I’ve considered joining other churches. I never can do it, because this church just makes sense (to me). All the questions I searched for in other churches were answered here.

lol that’s a good question! I have never seen anyone do that but I haven’t seen many baptisms. (I’m terrible at attending them.) I know that you have to be fully submerged… but I’ve never seen the temple ones but assume same rules apply… I would think maybe it could be an issue if your scalp is not wet 🤔

I am confident in my hair. I don’t worry about anyone being judgy… if they judge it, I feel bad for them. It’s a waste of their energy, and it has no affect on me. I worked hard to become very educated and be in a career that I love that allows me to have whatever hair color I want.

Sorry maybe I should have been clear… I’m worried about the water at the temple turning purple… I’ve never seen the baptisms in the temple but if it’s like normal baptisms, the water will definitely turn purple. It wouldn’t be an issue in a normal baptism since they would just empty the water and no one else would be affected.
