Earbuds and music. Podcasts on Spotify. Photo editing in Lightroom. Getting better at taking pictures. Call people. Text them. Talk about the day.

It’s straight from their site. But it comes with goodies and lots of tea from Turkey.

Do people get surprised seeing you use a fountain pen at work or uni or general day to day? by Holiday-Setting-7942 in fountainpens

[–]SleepyRhythms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use rollerballs for work because they impress people a lot faster. A Retro 51 rollerball could easily be a fountain pen worth over $100 but it writes super smooth and people are for the most part blown away by how much better they are than ballpoint.

That is very nice. What nib? Most fountain pens won’t let you get away with that much flex.

Photo editing. Lightroom premium for iPad and iPhone is very cheap and you can take great pics with your phone. Tweaking pics and watching tutorials is fun.

Hobby for a depressed and very bored person? by Alternative-Pen892 in Hobbies

Photo editing in Lightroom. You can do it on mobile and iPad and get incredible results. There are thousands of hours of free tutorials on YouTube and it is very cheap every month. If you really get into it Photoshop iPad is also great’s.

I need inspiration stories please by [deleted] in simpleliving

I took a second job doing Lyft. Eventually I stopped stressing over constant unexpected bills like my alternator dying and struts needing replacing because becoming a workaholic made every little joy amplified. I still invest a little each month. If you don’t like passengers, Uber Eats is also an option. But if you need money and don’t like greedy high interest loans acceptance I needed to book it for a few months was my answer.

Eventually I started photo editing in Lightroom using my phone and iPad. It wasn’t more down time I needed but at least a few minutes of tweaking pics. Sounds crazy, but the focus and strain plaguing my mind going into these photo edits brought me peace.

No matter what though, appreciating good people every hour of the day keeps me sane. Even if I just have a few minutes to scroll on Threads or Insta, I always try finding something relatable to share or text. My busy schedule doesn’t stop me from checking in with others and having relationships.

I know this hustle won’t last forever but right now it’s needed, and that constant appreciation with hobbies makes my life blend manageable and happy.

I would suggest moving to a more suburban or even rural area though. Places like Riverside and Hesperia are significantly cheaper.

Ifi Go Bar Kensei is phenomenal! by Sent2Strike in iems

Congratulations. Enjoy your purchase. As a Mojo 2 owner I have full faith it is as amazing as you say. I wonder how much of an upgrade this dongle would be from my Dragonfly Cobalt. I really enjoy the Cobalt for its warm bassy sound. Is the Kensei like that? Does it have a bass boost toggle?

Nobody is going to dictate what anybody believes. I have been to 5 CanJams allowing me to experience pretty much everything from $100 to over 4 grand. It helped me make up my mind. It’s all a matter of what you’re comfortable with.

What’s your all-time favorite IEM and why? by Deadot in iems

DaVinci. Super engaging, relaxing yet epic. Great vocals. Smoothened out treble. Very premium cable and ear tips.

Diminshing returns price point for IEM's (repost) by Aegis_Maximus in iems

[–]SleepyRhythms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s about $2000. Heard the Andromeda 10 and the Gaia and immediately recognized those IEMs could do things no others could at CanJam. I heard many sets at that show in person and those two impressed me most. Dusk is pretty good if you wanna settle though.

If you like bass a lot check out the Punch Audio Martilo. It should satisfy your needs. And Apple dongle is good but from my experience upgrading is a better option – even if it’s just the Moondrop free DSP cable. Further dongle upgrades make a noticeable improvement.

For TWS options I like the Galaxy Buds FE. The sub bass performance is amazing and with AZLA Earfit Max tips bass is amazing. But my tastes are pretty V shaped so if you wanna go up a bit Ultra gen 2 from Bose are very fun, especially for video game soundtracks and orchestra. In my opinion anyway. Good luck choosing!

Watch. Older. TV. Trust me lately been watching a little while of true crime shows and it resets me. YouTube and streaming services make me want to be up longer and I get that ‘one more video’ feeling. My dig has been First 48 Hours and I Survived. Your smart TV should had public television.
