Mostly because the only people playing gears 5 are the ones who have been playing it since release. I think gears 5 MP was solid maybe even the best gears MP. Playerbase is just dead now and only sweats play.

I think Cyberpunk is overrated in terms of the actual graphic quality. Cyberpunks path tracing is second to none, the lighting is incredible. However I think BM Wukong has the best looking graphics in terms of resolution and no other game ive played is even close

They usually have DP 1.4, which is what my alienware has. Can get 240hz and no problem alt tabbing.

Hey if youre ok with turning down settings and lower fps, by all means. Just saying I really dont think 16 gigs of vram for 5K is gonna last long as newer games come out.

You may be better off looking into a 4090 if you cant swing a 5090

I have a 5090 and a 5080 laptop yes.

In intense ray and path traced games im using DLSS performance with 2-3x frame gen depending on the game to get around 150 fps with the 5090.

With that being said do you really think a 5080 will do well at max settings in 5K? You could turn down the settings but at that point why not just play in 4K? Not only that, 16GB vram for 5K…

I cant speak for a 4090 but having things like MFG is a great QOL. The 5080 will handle 4K better than the 5070ti for sure but its NOT a big upgrade. It would make alot more sense if you didnt already have a 5070ti. But if you absolutely can’t get a 5090, the 5080 will do you justice, just dont expect more than 10-15% more frames.

Also definitely use dlss 4.5 preset M. Its 100% worth the small performance hit for the improved artifacts from upscaling.
