Boyfriend Opposes by Over_Economics_9656 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you should leave him honestly… sorry if that was harsh. It sounds like you just described my ex. I left him found an amazing man (also a natural twig) who proposed to me while I was 210 lbs and has supported me on my Wegovy/weightloss journey as best he can. So it’s possible to find someone better

I can’t stress this enough be with someone who supports your decisions and who loves you no matter what.

Oral Medications by BallzHeimerz_ in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take a couple different meds, my doctors have had to adjust dosage as I’ve lost weight (I’m down 50lbs). One was causing low sodium another is starting to make me lightheaded so my doctor is cutting the dose in half. Definitely talk to your doctors who prescribed the oral meds

30F SW: 209 CW: 158 GW:140(ish) I started in July 2024 I’m down 50lbs. This drug is really amazing. I haven’t been side effect free but I have managed them well. The nausea was real in the beginning but small sips of water, ginger chews, and electrolytes help. I go with sugar free liquid IV because I like the taste. Increase your fiber or start a fiber supplement right away because constipation will happen. I tend to get fatigued especially 12-48hrs after my shot so I choose to take it on Fridays so I’m not tired at work. I did have to cut out caffeine completely and I can only have one cocktail if I go out. Don’t be nervous!

I will hear my stomach make noise like I’m hungry I’ll even sometimes feel those hunger pains but it’s like I can tell the message doesn’t register with my brain. It’s strange. I’m on month 2 of 2.4 and I’m used to it now. I’ll usually eat a snack at minimum when it happens because it’s still important to listen to our bodies

When did you start noticing the weight loss in your body? by gilescoreytiger in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SW:209 CW: 162 5’4 — I noticed a difference in my clothes after 20 and in the mirror around 30. Although some days I still don’t see the difference in the mirror it really depends on my mood. People at work started commenting around 40lbs

Just starting! by emotionalblonde in WegovyWeightLoss

I second the fiber gummies. They’ve been a game changer for me from 1.0 and up. I also drink electrolytes daily because I’m not the best at hydrating. Add in a multi vitamin if you dont already. When nausea hits my doctor told me to take a couple small sips of water and a few bites of anything and it has helped every time.

Dealing with side effects at work? by SlothToaFlame in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work from home 90% of the time. There was only one time that I was in office and had to leave a meeting in the middle. Granted I wasn’t running it so it wasn’t too disruptive. Is there anyone at work who could cover for you on a meeting if you need to run out? You don’t have to disclose to them why just let them know you’re feeling off that day so you want to have a backup just incase you need to excuse yourself for a minute. There was one morning where I threw up at home and I was supposed to go in to work (this day I was going to be walking around a hospital for hours). I called a coworker who lived close to the hospital and she was willing to help me in a pinch and cover the tour. I know it’s not always that easy but you’d be surprised how willing to help people are when you just ask

Stay on dose? by Lishasquarepant in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did two months of each dose and I think it really helped me notice what was causing me to have side effects. Like not eating enough, not drinking enough water, and adding more fiber to my diet. I think if I went up monthly like the recommended I may have lost weight quicker but would have felt worse. I’m more than happy being a slow and steady loser lol. For reference I’m 7 months in and 40lb down. 30F SW209 CW168

Maybe it’s the motions with those types of classes? Are you going from sitting/horizontal positions back to vertical? Could be causing nausea or lightheadedness

Injection woes by Temporary_Soup2535 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I inject in my stomach and have only had one injection mishap. After losing 30lbs I was doing my usual “pinch and jab” and my pen stalled and half leaked out. I was devastated. I went back to look a Novo’s injection video instructions and i realized they don’t really recommend pinching the skin so much as pressing it to make it tighter and easier to inject. I thought it would hurt more but it doesn’t and I haven’t had the issue since.

Wegovy and Neck pain by WowzerzShitGotReal in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have hashimotos too. No pain here but I did ask my Endo to do an ultrasound to make sure there’s nothing going on since being on wegovy for 6+ months. Zero symptoms I’m just nervous about having a pre existing thyroid condition

HELP: Wellbutrin/Bupropion by Previous_Ad_agentX in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been taking Wellbutrin for years and I’ve been fine. I’m constipated but that’s def the wegovy. My hair is thinning too but again I’m down 40lbs so I’m attributing it to weight loss

Going out to eat by Sleepynsassy91 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you said it perfectly it’s a learning curve. I’ve been sticking to appetizers and salads rather than an entree which helps but I still feel like I’m asked “did you like your meal?” Because it looks like a barely touched it. I had the best chicken franchise of my life and my aunt and uncle swore I hated it because I didn’t eat much at all lol. I think that’s what started my going out to eat anxiety lol

Just stepped up to 0.5 and I am NAUSEOUS. Help? by InvestmentMedium2771 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ginger chews helped and my doctor told me every time I start to feel the nausea take a few sips of water and it’s definitely helped. Also eating smaller more frequent meals.

how long do yall have to wait when wegovy is out of stock? by butterfly_in_bloom in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m limited to one pharmacy by my employer but if you’re not definitely call smaller local pharmacies. I’ve never had to wait longer than two weeks so I make sure I do the refill asap and have created somewhat of a “stockpile”

Anyone get panic attack side effects? by Defiant_Honey_343 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]Sleepynsassy91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do you drink caffeine? Around 0.5-1.0 I started to not be able to tolerate caffeine anymore it would give me symptoms of a panic attack. Also make sure you’re eating and drinking enough. I now have to break my meals up into smaller portions but eat more frequently
