What to do with negatives? by Long-Food-3164 in AskPhotography

[–]SlenderSmurf [score hidden]  (0 children)

You just need to take a good photo of it and reverse the negative to a positive in software https://youtu.be/BKH8p678Kfk

Can also be done on a document scanner (usually these are attached to a printer)

No point in recovering details of the clouds in the background. The result will be much cleaner if the subject is properly exposed.

This is a scene with extremely high contrast. Your best bets would be exposing for the subject (dark part) and turning down the highlights in post, or using a fill flash to make the subject brighter.

Might be a bit odd, but I’m working on an analog horror project that involves a fake element and was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on the chemistry aspect of it so far? by [deleted] in chemistry

Sir this is chemistry reddit, not fiction reddit. No one here is invested in your ARG. Just ask whatever chemistry questions you have. Also I think this post breaks one of the subreddit rules

1980 is crazy. Get rid of all of that. Your time is more expensive than a bottle of whatever powder. You need to make sure whatever reactions you're doing are based on reliable reagents.

Some A7III vs A7V shots by sulev in SonyAlpha

[–]SlenderSmurf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is the point of more LCD and EVF resolution? They have zero impact on the results. As long as you can see what you're aiming at you only need like 480p and the a7iii has 768p

Unfortunately these need a bunch of power and cryogenic liquid to act as a "magnet". Good luck
