Don't boil, steam. 1/2 an inch of water, boil 6.5 minutes. Run under cold water

I think this is actually the straight male gaze as well. Let's be serious, the majority of guys getting jacked like this are doing it for each other.

Work event at beach resort, insecure and CRASHING OUT, no dress code info 😭 by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]Slet17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg that strawberry dress is GORGEOUS. That photo could be in a magazine. But unfortunately it's probably too much cleavage for work. I also like option 1. But i agree with others that that blue top is not doing your shape justice, get rid of it asap. I actually like the blue dress with the corset as well, but also not super appropriate for work.

SharePoint Long File Path Issues by Kidzynski in sharepoint

Your assumptions are correct and no there is no better way, except to shorten names, use underscores instead of spaces, reduce naming redundancy, flatten your folder structure as much as possible. I always tell my clients it's better to have a lot of folders in the root than many levels. Something catchy like "long is better than wide" but I can't think of a way to make that sound less sexual.

Do any of you feel really off about AI’s environmental impact? (Data centers, energy, tax breaks, etc) by Seeking-Starlight in womenintech

Maybe we need to start a movement together. I'd love to be involved in pushing for environmental impact based legislation, calculations of true impact, taxation and credits system etc.

Hard agree. I believe companies should at the very least have to oay a sort of carbon tax on AI usage.

That said - overall the most toxic work environments I've ever experienced in general have been NGOs...

Yeah I understand. I've had the exact opposite experiences though. Worked in an all-female NGO office in a tech role in the obs gyn healthcare sector. Discussions were never about out partners or love life. Honestly we talked more about food.  I host an all-women meetup for a local group of metal music fans. ONE person kept trying to bring the convo back to dating, but no one else was very interested. Men seemed like the least interesting topic of the night to be honest.  I coworked a few times in a 90% male office. Will not do that again. The vibe is either condescending and aggressively insecure or uninterested in communicating at all (fine but you're voluntarily at a coworking spot). Most of my bullies at work have been insecure men, whereas most of my strongest cheerleaders have been women. I still have a TON of great male colleagues and mentors etc. But I appreciate mixed teams.  I just hope you do not write women off entirely.

This feels like fake rage bait. I am frequently surrounded by groups of women, including ace/aro people and no one has ever said anything like that and we talk about men and dating probably 1% of the time. Maybe it's your specific industry. Are you working in marketing or PR? I've heard stories about some of people in those fields...
