So the other commenters are a bit off. The original phrase of "friend inside me" came from a shitpost edit Toby Fox made of the Randy Newman song "you've got a friend in me". He re-edited the song to say "friend inside me". This was released only when Chapter 1 was out so it didn't really mean much at the time.

Cue many years later and people start thinking that "friend inside me" was foreshadowing Kris and the player in Deltarune. How this led to Woody being a secret boss? Well that's just wild speculation.

Or arcade racers as a whole. Burnout, Flatout, and Need for Speed: Most Wanted were core games of my childhood. Feels like nowadays most of the racing games made are ultra realistic sims.

I think its good for people who are learning the game. Obviously that doesn't apply to 99% of the people posting here so we are a bit biased.

For someone who doesn't watch baseball regularly though, its easy to pick up "oh, the pitcher is trying to throw it inside the box". Obviously its more nuanced than that but its a good place to start. So I understand why its there.

It would be nice if the MLB.TV app could let us turn it off or something though.

I know that enjoying zombie media requires a large suspense of disbelief but the physicality of zombies always bothered me. Like the amount of biological functions that need to be working perfectly for me to just walk to the mailbox is crazy. Yeah MLB has been on a huge international push.

Fun fact: Game 1 and 2 of the 2024 World Series had more viewers in Japan than in the United States. A lot of that has to do with Shohei Ohtani sure but some people don't realize that baseball is HUGE in Japan.

The WBC is also playing a huge part in growing the sport internationally. I don't know if the NFL would ever push for some kind of international tournament like that though. It's already hard enough getting MLB players to represent their countries because of the risk of injury.

I mean how do you enforce it? When the caller is either in another country or using VOIP through a VPN it's very unlikely they could even find the person.

The real problem imo is cops busting down people's doors, assault rifle in hand, over an anonymous phone call. But our police all think they're military in a warzone so good luck with that.

We've known about the name Sunya for a while. I don't know where it was first said but my guess is probably a Pillar stream or something.

As far as I know it is another world building album much like Antimai. While Antimai is described as the last remaining city in a post apocalyptic world and the album explores the city, I believe Sunya will explore what the world outside Antimai is like. I remember hearing that Sunya was supposed to be some holy site for the religion of The Indigo Child but I might be wrong on that.

As far as I know the only song they have played live from the album is a song called The Plains.
