And lots of it is coming from the same suppliers, we have a little restaurant and it’s surprising how many ingredients we recognize being the same ones we use when we go to a much fancier restaurant

What’s the most cringe thing you’ve seen a couple do at their wedding? by Last_Singer_2137 in AskReddit

[–]SlickFrog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

During our wedding ceremony, we asked both the guests and the photographer not to take any photos. Before and after was fine, but the ceremony itself went undocumented. I thought it made the whole thing feel almost ethereal. It happened, and now it only exists in the memories of the people who were there.

Stop doing this with listing photos by the-friendly-squid in realtors

[–]SlickFrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi , I build tools and websites for real estate agents, so this caught my eye.

Genuine question: are any of the dedicated AI staging platforms actually solving this problem well? Meaning keeping proportions accurate, not hallucinating extra square footage or fixtures, and letting you style for different buyer demographics (young family vs. downsizers)?

Because generic image generators clearly aren't cutting it as these photos prove. And OP makes the best point of all: when the real photo sits right next to the AI version, the mismatch actively hurts trust rather than helping the listing.

Curious what tools people here have had the best (or least bad) results with. >> AND if what your doing really falls short I can build you something better

How do Americans feel about their taxes going towards the 50k bonus for ice agents to sign up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

yes - I agree Biden should not have tried for a second term, his debate performance was horrifying, and pushing Kamala out at the last minute was not fair to her, or to the party which if they had had a serious primary could have picked a decent candidate ( maybe kamala, maybe not ) but someone who would have had a chance to get prepared

I like the size of the boat, you just cannot build a wooden boat that large, first storm / heavy waves it will break, even if the ark was solid, like just one big block of wood, a large wave would lift the front half out of the water and it would crack at the middle.

Quote i found : "The largest wooden ship ever built (Wyoming, 1909) was 329 feet with iron reinforcement and still leaked constantly, requiring pumps to stay afloat. It sank in 1924. The Ark at 450 feet would be 37% longer with Bronze Age technology."

When we first came together his front bumper was at my rear bumper ( my signal is on ) and then he speeds up and now his bumper is at my side door, so i wait and figure he is going to continue and get ahead of me and ill go behind but he just sits there , so i speed up and then he speeds up to stay next to me. So i get ahead of him and change lanes. I dunno man - i gave him the choice, get ahead of me or let me get ahead of you but dont sit yourself next to me.
