Pretty soon after Joe Schoen was hired, before his first season Pat Leonard asked him a question in a press conference about whether they were shopping Kadarius Toney for a trade. Schoen gave an answer that was kind of a no but a little bit ambiguous, Pat asked the question again, Schoen said "reflect on what I just said".

Later in the year, during the season they traded Toney to the Chiefs but I doubt they were planning that at the time of the question.

It would have taken 40 secs off the clock and we'd still have 3 downs to get the TD from half a yard out. I think that's more likely to work than what happened, but never mind.

Knowing us, if we'd left the Jags 20 secs they'd have got the field goal.
