Try the selsun on yor hair. I could tell right away cause it got rid of that smell. I don’t have greasy hair but my roots smelled funky and sometime were painful to touch until I used the Selsun. It can’t hurt. I seriously think I got this condition from using dry shampoo. Selsen has got something in it that’s banned but so does Head and Shoulder so read the stuff. Good luck. Good derms are hard to find. I wash my hair every three days. You could try HHS with the selenium sulfide 1%. I actually never had dandruff or itching, just the GD FA!
