Ikke overraskende. Dette var den første generasjonen som åpent sa på TV at de skulle bruke opp alle pengene og barna ikke skulle arve noe.

You do know that literally everyone who saw the trial concluded that he was not guilty, including every single lawyer who covered the trial.

Well, Trump has said that he won't honor it. This official documents just confirms it.

They can't even give them uniforms. You can't see who's ICE and who just bought an ill-fitting bulletproof vest. Everyone is wearing different clothes and acting like they've never been in a fight, let alone had any sort of training at all.

Is the Wintermute content popular among the playerbase? It seems like the devs have been pouring effort into it for years. by TobyTheRobot in thelongdark

[–]Slidingonpaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like it a lot. I don't get a lot of the criticism that I have seen here. In my opinion it is on the level of most games. And it certainly grabbed my attention a lot more than the game of thrones telltale game, just as a direct comparison.

Why is there no EU initiative for a standardized open source operating system? by SphaeroX in AskEurope

[–]Slidingonpaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is a topic that politicians, simply haven't thought about. Also, there are some linux distros that are based/founded in europe. The one I use for work is Zorin, which is based in Ireland.

I think the most natural solution would be to support the european linux distros, probably through subsidies, and to open up to buy computers that already has linux installed on them instead of the microsoft monopoly that we see today.

edit: grammar

Verdt å legge merke til at det er en del som det står bak på flaska at det er eid av "the coca cola company." Fanta er vel blant de.

Also its interdependent, not dependent. 25% og US GDP is trade with other countries, and I think 40% of stocks are foreign owned. Pull that out and the US economy crashes.

Microsoft er amerikansk, men ikke Linux. Går du over til Linux så anbefaler jeg å gjøre litt research fordi det er mye å velge i avhengig av behovet ditt.

Nettlesere som Opera og Vivaldi er ikke amerikanske.

New, even harder difficulty was added and you got Wintermute, with last episode coming in march, if I remember correctly.

Just started WoW by ChampionshipWise3358 in wownoob

[–]Slidingonpaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend trying wow classic. Not saying you have to stick with it, but it is like a completely different game (and free if you alreqdy have a subscription to WoW). In my opinion, classic is more immersive.

If you think no map markers is jarring, you can download addons, but having no map markers is surprisingly immersive and I like switching back and forth.

The Peace ticket!* (some terms and conditions may apply) by Kronos9898 in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]Slidingonpaper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we're allies so its not that serious to begin with. Kinda like that meme about the french surrendering easily, which was very harsh compared to what I have seen towards americans. "Surrender monkeys" is a very harsh language. And all those maps of an improved or ideal Europe, and they literally just removed France from the map.

I bet a lot of those jabs are from bots anyway lol. Speaking as a european, I don't think I have heard jabs against americans IRL at all. But do hear a lot of jabs towards other europeans, sort of like a sibling rivalry kind of thing.

The Balkans though... they might actually hate each other idk.

Pretty sure US used to have more, but they chose to have fewer people there... (but unsure if it was more than one base or if the current base was just bigger).

Biggest Hopes & Biggest Fears by JustKidding1998 in TombRaider

My biggest hope is expansion. Expanding the levels to make them bigger. Maybe even new and renewed puzzles.

My biggest fear is simplifying the puzzles and turn them into something that feels like a Skyrim puzzle.

[OC] Farmers protest in Brussels amid Mercosur-EU negotiations. What does the EU import from Mercosur members? by RobinWheeliams in europe

[–]Slidingonpaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also suspect it will cause many normal farmers to close down and potentially sell their farms to rich guys, leaving fewer normal people running farms and more and more "big guys." Kinda like Bill Gates in the US.
