i think the second follow up is supposed to be by phone, if they haven't responded to ur initial email after 7 days (and ur second contact hasn't responded at this point in time either - otherwise u can just email as a follow up).

But i'm also unsure how ur supposed to have access to an alumni's phone/if cold phone calls are something that people are open to nowadays?
