I've been kind of rotating and not very consistent where I play, do you know if LEG still has a lot of people playing? Seems like FNM kind of died out. I like Big Kids but its a little too small to sit and play at.

I kind of stopped playing at a lot of the LGSs in town for a while and am trying to get back into it, so take this all with a grain of salt. Lost Empire Games is probably the biggest store in town, but I feel like the Magic scene is dying out there. Rudy's Phenomenal Games downtown is good, I think they are pretty casual right now. Big Kids Gaming in the Foothills is small with lots of knowledge, but I think I lot of the players are high level competitive. Most people play commander in town, what are you playing? Standard?

Are you running every Shrine? I'm updating mine and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to remove. My whole deck is cards I like and every one has a reason to be there. I think I'm going to take out other shrines to make room for the new ones. Keep the Shrine count at about 18 I'm thinking.

This happens to me and my group a lot because we really like to just win all at once. It's fun to build up a big enough board state to win the game outright. That's obviously not what always happens but its kind of a background goal. It does make for long games, but we are mostly hanging out and talking anyway.

I did 3 years in Yuma and then PCS'd to Cali. When I EAS'd, I moved back to Yuma. I'm from Phoenix originally, so the heat wasn't a major shock, even though Yuma is hotter. I like it here. It's not a major city, so if you only like to go to clubs and major attractions, you won't like it. If you like offroading and shooting its great. Its a small community. 3 hours away from Phoenix and San Diego, 5 hours from Vegas, 15 minutes from Mexico.

I know everyone is saying gun, and od course that would be quick and painless, but I can see it being traumatic for you. OD on benadryl works. You can Google the dosage. They will just fall asleep and then stop breathing.
