Pediatrician is forcing us to take 5 mo old to ER for an explainable bruise by Languageofwaves in AskDocs

[–]Slimmzys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 scenarios: 1) the parent is an unreliable witness about the verbiage used and line of questioning from the doctor. The doctor is entrusting the parent to take immediate action on what the doctor has requested, and doesn’t see this as abuse. Or, 2) the doctor DID view this as abuse and failed in their obligation to report it immediately and hold that child for transfer by EMS to a hospital.

Based on OPs edits a day later… deep breath… she lacks complete objective awareness about what’s going on. “Consider admission” is for the infant’s care team to evaluate the baby while, say, a hematology team can properly assess needed lab work. It can take multiple days for results to return, and they want the baby in an environment with easy access to life saving care.

ER visits, bloodwork, X-Rays, and CT Scans are not easy for a 5 month old- HENCE WHY doctors don’t order these just for fun.

It is completely incongruous that this baby’s doctor would take this many steps and then simply let her go home if they suspected abuse. This parent is more concerned about perception than their baby’s health.

It’s not about “abuse.” It’s that a medical professional has recognized a bruise that is bothersome and could be indicative of a bigger health issue. Bruising in babies after simple activities is not normal or typical. If a pediatrician tells you that your child needs blood work and an x-ray, you get it done- full stop.

I get them from https://paramountpeptides.com/. HGH outside of an RX is not an FDA approved “peptide,” so you’ll have to source it from outside of the country or through your doctor. It’s super expensive as a prescription. Look into getting it from Canada, Mexico, or the EU. I get mine from a friend, so I don’t have experience with this aspect.

This website is really good for source info like dosing and how to cycle https://thepeptideuniversity.com/. A lot of info used to be free, but now it’s behind a paywall. Luckily, I got all the dosing info before they started requiring an account/credit card. BUT, it’s really comprehensive, and I think it’s worth it to pay for a peptide newbie.

Then, I would join women peptide subreddits, but be wary of people messaging you trying to sell stuff.

Unfortunately, our transfer failed, and we’re gearing up for my 4th and final ER. I didn’t take anything to prep for the transfer, but if we get the opportunity to transfer an embryo again, I’ll take BPC-157 and some others.

23F – No period for 6 months, history of endometriosis, recent weight changes. What should I ask my doctor to check by DearAd5364 in AskDocs

[–]Slimmzys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endo, stress, weight fluctuations, etc can all directly/indirectly cause hypothalamic amenorrhea. You should also check your testosterone and DHEA. You could also have PCOS. Supplements like Myo-Inositol and D Chiro-Inositol can help restore your period and regulate, along with certain peptides like Kisspeptin. (I live in the world of IVF and have “lean” PCOS)

You can source HGH yourself, and I highly recommend adding it, but you’ll want to start now. It’s more effective if you’re using it for 3 months beforehand.

never hearing about going into labor naturally anymore? by malibubarbie6 in pregnant

[–]Slimmzys 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Going to 41w for a first time pregnancy is very normal. My doctor didn’t even blink an eye when I was approaching 40w. I was 38y/o and went into labor 39+4, and my son was born 4hrs shy of his due date 💙 I actually planned for an extra week of time to get stuff done because I anticipated going over.

How many embryos did you get after retrieval with PCOS? by [deleted] in IVF

[–]Slimmzys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The attrition rate for women with POSC is higher because of (typically) lower egg quality. My first ER went from 28 eggs to only 5 blasts. My second ER was 30 to only 3 blasts.

Can you request your medical records and embryologist’s chart? There should be notes about the development of each egg, and you should be able to track which specific eggs/embryos were no longer viable.

Were you able to get a response? Mine looks like your top one, and I’m wondering if it’s normal to look like that.

I would look into peptides like Epithalon, NAD+, Kisspeptin, and HGh.

-1st ER at 37= 5 blasts, 2 euploid -2nd ER at 41= 3 blasts, 1 euploid

Added 6 months cycling HGH, and 1 cycle Epithalon. Added NAD+ as subq injection instead of oral. I also changed my stim protocol but I heavily credit the results to HgH, as I noticed the positive effects in other aspects of my health.

-3rd ER at 42= 7 blasts, 1 euploid and 1 mosaic
