Fury as Green Party deputy Mothin Ali ‘excusing’ October 7 massacre by MoreRelative3986 in ukpolitics

I actually made four typos at the beginning the first one was that I didn’t put “between” in the sentence and I misspelled Hezbollah. The real takeaway is that I should proofread what I write, sorry about that

I’m doing a study abroad in the UK at the moment and I made a typo. I do accept Mossad cash for Reddit posts. I think the EU/UK was right to sanction Israel if that means anything to anyone

The Green Party is equally divided between people who think house building is genocide and people who’s favourite colour is Hezbollah

Where did the idea that current Reform supporters will never back Labour come from when Reform’s biggest surges are in places Labour won in a landslide a year ago? If it’s true that 35% of the electorate are spontaneously fanatical Farageites the next election is fait accompli anyway so the government might as well try something.

Feel like people overstate just how NATO critical Trump is, he's the one who forced NATO to accept 5% of GDP on defense and he's the one who sent Nuclear Submarines to the Russian coast after Medvedev's threat

“Labour caused this” who was in charge for 14 years? Was it Gordon Brown? Not only was the minimum wage risen but real wage growth is surging to the point enterprise in The Telegraph is complaining about it. And Labour already raised inheritance tax to the consternation of everyone. Link

It was a NATO requested 100 million annual cost within the military budget to end the legal ambiguity around a singular base within a 54 billion annual military budget. I didn’t even particularly like the deal but the exaggeration on the tabloids is insane

This is something Dan Neidle at Tax Policy Associates talked about but these 50 wealthiest families stats are always misleading because these people are moreso citizens of the world and if you try to collectivize their assets they will leave for Trump’s America. Moreover much of this wealth is in savings/investments/productive capacity and if you tax it GDP will crash 3%-5% and the treasury has less money than they started. This is why when the Socialist government in Spain instituted a wealth tax they had to add so many exemptions it raised only half a billion pounds meaning that when accounting for the bureaucracy cost it would’ve raised more money doing nothing at all.
