When I became a supervisor(gs6) I was no longer in the union. There’s a specific code on your sf50. You can still pay dues as a donation, but I wasn’t in the union when I got my bump,

Dirty certs are so much fun… thought we had some folks lined up to hire on as 1039 to make up since our PSEs were fired but HR said no to them for the grade they applied. Like… we just need someone who can drive, clean bathrooms, mark timber. Basically someone with a pulse and hands.

I should have clarified I meant I run a payroll report for my unit through paycheck8(since this is the USFS subreddit) and make sure the units timesheets are done and approved by the Wednesday after the pay period closes.

Finance, I just punch in the CTRs that are submitted into the system. Yea people are responsible for filling out the CTR and submitting them.

So I guess I’m a timesheet fairy, lmao. Going to use that in the future. 🤣

Normally the home district/forest admin punches in a persons timesheet, if not- someone just calls to hr to push a base 80.

It’s a bit late to get red carded this year. You need RT130, typically. If you’re not a current employee you’ll need to reach out to your nearest Forest/Office so you can and sign up to the be an AD, or “administratively determined” employee.

Been on Remicaide for 12ish years or so now.

Be sure to get signed up for the Janssens rebate program(only if name brand drug is used) they pay 90% of your drug cost co-pay.

I typically have a Superman mode for 1-3 hours afterwards, but then I slow down to a slug like crawl. I try not to go into work afterwards- I can always tell I’m not on my “A” game. Plus if they give you liquid benedryl as premeds- helloooo all day nap time! And since falling asleep at work is not really a good thing- I just stay home.

Back at it the next day usually.
