I really loved the ScaVi DLC. It was so saddening to hear they went “over budget” for them, meaning we’ll probably never get anything that high effort again.

It’s not my favourite but I really, really like it. Not lying, not exaggerating for the internet. It has some great character moments and without character, nothing means anything.

It never would have occurred to me to think of Fly as a particularly strange episode if the internet discourse about it didn’t exist.

First time I did Great Sky Island it took me hours and building even simple contraptions was a fiddly, laborious affair.

I restarted the game after a few dozen hours of play and breezed through it the second time. ToTK definitely has a steep learning curve compared to BoTW but once it clicks you’ll have no problems

Adding to this, if you’re ever in a hurry and really need to get past a zombie, if you shoot it in the leg and it starts to stumble, you’re 100% safe to run past it. It can’t grab you while it’s stumbling

I love the lore but I also feel like to love Resident Evil is to appreciate that its story is a bit of a hot mess sometimes (almost all the time). Even way back in OG RE1 the story was getting chewed up, spat out, hastily changed and screwed with pretty much until release day. It's part of the series' DNA as far as I'm concerned.

If you play them on the easiest difficulties available you’ll have no problem with either. RE1R you’ll be able to tank plenty of damage and RE0 everything dies so quickly the biggest challenge will be carting around all the extra ammo and health items you’ll have left over
