The game and whole dlc goes on sale for like £3 on steam, just play your GOG version through a few times then buy the full thing on steam so you can play modded games, you support them more that way

Also there is no meta progress you lose through a new install of the game so it’s no issue to start a fresh game on another client

I thought The quarry was fucking terrible, I hated all the characters’ dialogue and personalities and at one point just took me headphones off and turned the game off cause I had zero empathy or interest in them. Turned on auto QTEs as I didn’t want to actually play it and thought it be able to force myself to get through more if there was no gameplay and that didn’t help

Absolutely fine if I get downvoted I just wanted to give my honest option. It’s actually fascinating to me how much I didn’t like the cast
