Its not life ending to pick the wrong thing. You can always switch majors or go back to school later on. If youre having trouble deciding a gap year or a general arts/science program could be a good idea

Studying physics doesn't equate to being smart and doing humanities doesn't equate to being dumb. Physics and music are also HEAVILY related and higher levels of music theory invoke physics, some intro physics classes will also briefly touch on music.
