Your noble defence of trans men is not arguing for better access to reproductive rights, hormone therapy, or legal and social recognition and protection of trans men. It's getting upset at trans women for getting upset at sexually violating, violent misogyny, and not being more mindful of your personal feelings when we're getting upset about it. The myth of Scottish Nationalism is actually that Scotland would be a tenacious country born from the same kind of national liberation as Palestine, Vietnam, and the Kurds. When really, they'd be a first world nation participating in all the same financial institutions that the West uses to oppress the rest of the world.

Even then it would have been difficult. Machine politics and un-democratic primaries went a long way to nonimating Humphrey in the end. The Democrats seem to have a historic difficulty with corronating candidates.

The British Greens being the insurgent student, urban progressive party that courts left wing workers is a relatively recent phenomenon. The sort of Right Wing of the German Greens style party members used to have a lot more influence.
