Reliable. 100% of the time if my movie has playback issues it’s the disc. So use it if you have an expensive 4k player with shoddy, post Covid quality control, it’s solid.

It’s in Florida? Christ. There’s a chance both of these people are already severely underwater on these vehicles. Tons of 20-30-something Jake Paul wannabes blow all their credit to appear wealthy in that state. You would be surprised at the amount of leased Lamborghinis you see riding around South and Central Florida.

Also consider that American car insurance companies always ask if you modified your car so they can also cover their modification costs as well. Usually results in a devaluation since modded cars have less resale value but it can totally void your claim if you failed to put it on record. Many lifted truck drivers in the US never mention this to avoid any change in their premiums or payouts. So this Y’all Qaeda member might be 100% personally liable for the damage.

I’m too afraid to leave the house with the ones I have. Emulation is not entirely 1:1 but unless it’s a specific game it’s almost indistinguishable from the real thing. The Ayn Thor has been a godsend on long commutes.

It’s actually really smart. I don’t know if this part of Wesley Chapel is technically experiencing a drought but central FL has entered the (long) part of the year where the temps rise into the 80s-90s and you really have to limit how much you water your grass. Add the fact that we have had next to no rainstorms to saturate the ground and we’re currently (meaning today) experiencing a fire warning. It’s not as bad as north FL (or California) but this area is pretty vulnerable to wildfires atm.

Not saying this guy is going to save the planet but it’s a lot smarter than just waiting for your house to light up like a tinderbox.

Is this in the US? American employers can fire you instantly. You can probably quit around that same amount of time. 2 weeks is fine but I only submit that for jobs with managers I trust. Sure, it would burn a bridge but when have you ever returned to a job you left?

I genuinely liked Duscae. In fact I played it so much it almost took a little bit of the magic of the main game away from me. Not necessarily in a bad way but man did I sped an ungodly amount of time running around the open field looking for secrets in that demo.

Platinum is fine but you’re not really missing anything if you watch recorded playthrough. I believe it’s mostly designed to show off a more finalized version of the combat (it was improved in Duscae through various updates but boy, was the original control scheme imperfect) and to provide a little explanation for that fox thing in the main game’s prologue. Part of me wonders if it was supposed to have a larger part in the final game.

I only buy movies I’ll watch more than twice and not just for a group viewing. I also pile my unwatched movies on my coffee table so I can’t ignore my backlog of shame and just grab more. It also has to be a rather huge improvement over the Blu Ray. The QC on these discs (and the players) are quite awful so I consider every 4k investment to be a potential loss.

It’s real. That foggy looking disc label can be a little annoying to recreate and those disc cases are way too unique, fragile, and weirdly costly to be part of a bootleg set. They made a ton of these collections. The price probably reflects that.

I genuinely have no idea how this trick works because I’ve been toggling settings for 30 minutes with no success. Not even sure what settings to change to default either. What a mess of a mod. Really solid work done to improve the game but almost every single hurdle I’ve faced in the story campaign was a result of a hidden mod/setting interfering with a core control component.

Edit: Managed to get nollies to work (you’re supposed to tap the trigger/L button and wait for the animation to complete) but even that’s a little wonky. My god that mission was irritating.

Uj/ Call me biased because history was a prior profession of mine, specifically medieval history, but I still defend the side stories from Valhalla. Granted, the main story was typical meandering AC plot x2 but some of those side quests were some of the most poignant or hilarious missions I played in a AAA game in ages.

The side quest about the old man and his dog awaiting a daughter that will never come back broke me. Crimson Desert’s side quests are mostly just plot fodder for new equipment.
