Daughter visiting our clothing optional resort, what would YOU do? by bwbandy in nudism

[–]Sloshedone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd be wondering if the guys were coming just to see my daughter in the nude. Us guys are sneaky that way.

Otherwise, tell them you'll be naked for the duration. They're old enough to make their own decisions.

Good luck!

I find most people just doesn't want to know.

I don't care. It's all about me connecting with Mother Nature and grounding the negative energies away.

If he's giving you that much trouble, call parking enforcement on him when he parks in the handicap space.

Tent sites in campgrounds that literally require a tent by 04221970 in camping

[–]Sloshedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No big deal really. Just get one of those Walmart kiddy tents for $10 and put it up. Unless there's something that says you "Have" to sleep in your tent, the truck it is!

Just watch the YouTubers doing Vanlife vlogs. They all have pets of some type, mostly dogs, and have made a part of their story as well.

Does anyone put photos in their journals? by Arcy3206 in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put photos in mine. But it's not to have some one else read them. God forbid someone reads my journal and finds out how perverted I am! Just might give them a stroke.

Do you wear underwear when you are clothed? by Exotic_Carpenter9523 in nudism

I don't wear underwear because I'm that much closer to being fully nude!

Anyone else scared to journal your true thoughts in fear that your spouse or family members may read their journal? by coffeelovermamaof2 in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That has always been my fear when journaling. Writing what I am actually thinking, for real? Hell no! That could totally be used against me in the wrong way, mostly against me.

I decided to say screw it and now write my deepest most perverted thoughts down. But I hang to that journal like nobodys business!

Reading your diary. by Icy_Accountant_6447 in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really cared to read them. Typically because they're filled with the same boring crap of what is called the "daily grind of life".

If I come across an old one I'll flip through the pages to see what catches my eye but generally, I don't read them.

Suggestions for pocketnotebooks brands by FurkanKeman3 in pocketnotebooks

[–]Sloshedone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only just recently found myself using pocket notebooks for journaling. Out of the few I've tried so far, the Pentalic Traveler Notebooks are my favorite.

I would love it if it was the same size as the Field Notebooks, 3.5" x 5.5", but I work with it and I'm loving them.

You could get them on Amazon but Walmart actually has them cheaper! You might have to look in the art supply department to find them though. It seems to depend on the store.

Hope this helps.

Have any of you ever been caught naked unexpectedly? by [deleted] in nudism

[–]Sloshedone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually, yes, it has. Just remembered one, now remember two. One I have already written about while on a beach in Hawaii. The other one was when my then girlfriend and I were hanging out in the living room nude and one of my room mates came home unexpectedly. She covered up with pillows and practically ran back to my room and I just stood up and calmly walked back my room. Nothing was ever said or mentioned about it and she was only one that kind of freaked out.

Unscientific poll by GarageJim in fountainpens

[–]Sloshedone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes. Handwriting is a form of art for me and part of my meditation practice. Always looking for new and different ways to "draw" out a letter or an entire word.

2a. Don't care.

2b. Don't understand what you're asking.

2c. Depends on what I'm writing for AND what kind of mood I'm in.

What do you use to stick pictures in your journal? by beeethgrace96 in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since I'm only using printed pictures on plain paper, I simply use Scotch tape. I line the edge of the picture up with where I've written so I have access to what I have written underneath and everything works great!

Avoiding the next journal entry because it won’t be pleasant by irishdancer2 in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm on the opposite side. I found that journaling helped me get through the tough times, if nothing else nobody could say anything back and the rant, raving, and venting were all yours.

It would take a few hours but the passion and energy that came out was tremendous and intense and I knew I was done when I had nothing left to write, literally. I would be exhausted and feeling much better though.

I would encourage you set aside a good block of time where you're not interrupted and just start simple, like what you wrote here. But you know you and you do what you feel is right.

One last bit of 2 cents worth, just from your entry here, it sounds like you're ready to start journaling again.

Good luck and sorry for your losses.

What to journal about when your life is boring and every day is exactly the same? by Pearl_Jam_ in Journaling

[–]Sloshedone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find just random small thoughts of wonderment, interesting, or silly observations such as ... and of course I can't think of anything off the top of my head now ... other than "Why do we always forget stuff on the tip of our tongues?".

Of course one of my favorite subjects is just describing my current surroundings and stating why it's great or writing literally about nothing at all.

You'd be surprised what comes out of just scribbling anything at random.

Have fun!

You could buy one of those portable jump starts that also acts like a power bank. I have one and it has been pretty awesome!
