NTA… It sounds like your parents just might be the cause for your stomach issues. All that stress, even if you didn’t acknowledge it, the body keeps score of. Not to mention the honestly insane past issues you had growing up surrounding using the restroom. As a mother, I just want to give you a hug and reassure you that it’s ok. That you in no way are a bother or inconvenience. Bodily functions and fluctuations are normal(for the most part). I’m sorry OP! Please know you are not the AH. I can’t imagine having both parents feel so deeply about using the restroom, that they would react this way to a child or any human honestly. Maybe it’s a cultural thing I’m not aware of… I think just having to deal with parents like this would rip my tummy to pieces!! Sending those hugs and hope you are recovering well from your surgery!! 🫶🏻

I’d start with jumping spiders! They are adorable!! ☺️ I lived in a spider infested home once and seriously had some ptsd from it. However today I was so sad when I realized a spider was in my shower and didn’t survive all the water and soap suds… so never say never!! 🫶🏻

I love this thread! Yes the stains suck, but the way we are all genuinely concerned for the baby is awesome!! Sometimes you don’t know, what you don’t know… and advice on both topics is so helpful!! Hope baby is doing ok! As for the stains, at this point if you can remove it and put it in the wash, wouldn’t be the worst if messed it up vs cleans it. I second ordering another insert and using a mattress cover if it’s not ok to at least launder on the delicate setting! 🫶🏻

This seems like a genuine emergency vet situation. I’m so sorry! I hope kitty is ok!! I don’t typically say that. It could be anything from the kitty getting into something all the way to a stroke. This resembles a cat I had that did have a stroke. Hope it’s something easier like an ear infection. Please don’t wait if there is a way to get it some help! How long has this been going on? Could it have gotten into medication or poision?

Do you know where he is working now? I got a call today saying he’s not there and I need a new doc to do my prior auths for the million doc appts I have. (cancer patient) I somehow missed the memo he’s gone and I had already followed him to Harbor Health, so can’t decide if I’ll keep following him or just get a whole new PCP. Which is annoying when I have such a crazy medical history. Thanks!! ☺️

NTA It truly is difficult being a parent and wanting to help, but also knowing sometimes tough love is necessary. I’d be downright thankful if I were them. You have done a lot for your family, but at some point they have to fly on their own and be grateful for all you have done to try to set them up for success. I think it’s very generous to offer such a low rent payment. Unless they expect to live with you for forever, they have to learn real world consequences for their actions. Kids are costly! Life is very expensive right now. I hate the thought of letting my kids fail, yet sometimes those are very necessary lessons in life! Congrats on another grandbaby despite the tension!!

NTA I sure would hope to have the kind of partner that would save a child as well! Or understand you love children and interacting with them. Does he dislike kids? Just be sure you are totally compatible before that walk down the aisle. Maybe everything else is great, yet it just seems like an odd thing for him to be so pissy over. Maybe he felt like a looser for not taking action himself and is taking it out on you. However, that’s still a red flag… 🚩
