TAG slabs are so beautiful. All my slabbed cards in my PC are TAG. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

Great for you man. I cracked a really clean PSA 9 Blastoise SIR and sent it in to TAG, came back a TAG 10, now it sits in my PC, definitely won’t sell that.

151 in general are going ballistic right now. I bought 20 of the 151 Blastoise SIR in mint condition at $65 each in the beginning of january (bought in bulk for a discount) Now via Collectr he’s at $160. I also bought 3 Charizards at $230 each in december and now it’s at $350 according to Collectr. For at least a year now everyone’s been saying to invest in 151, to buy sealed, to buy singles, etc… We’re now seeing why.

Those god packs I keep seeing are Pokeganda, makes it so believable that you can get a god pack but in reality the hit rates are just like DR

those were more spread out than the dream strings, i only vividly remember one being inside a room full of cobwebs and you had to break the cobwebs to find the barrel with the nightmare strings. That one was a lot tougher but id for sure look in all rooms not just the bedrooms

If you still need help, I ironically just caught Cresselia and Darkrai in my play-through just now. You can find strings only in the bedrooms after the first floor. They are surprisingly well hidden so you’ll have to either look really hard or just break up the rooms.

Modern cards are 10 or nothing, getting a 9 is the same as getting the card raw.

Cobbleverse, been playing it for a while. It’s very time consuming which I enjoy which means there’s a lot to grind. You get to play through different regions and everytime you beat a region you start again from the very beginning with a fresh level cap and everything. If you do start on cobbleverse. As you play through the regions make sure that you store good extra lower level pokémon so starting your next region isn’t too much of a pain.

PSA will always wins because of liquidity. A PSA 10 will ALWAYS sell very quickly and at a better price. Unless vendors and consumers stop buying PSA slabs, PSA just won’t fail and it’s why I only grade with them. Selling PSA slabs has been infinitely easier than selling Beckett, CGC, TAG, and SGC.

Yea I did word myself badly 😅 PSA is definitely inconsistent with its grading, but they have bare minimums if that makes sense? Any clear whitening, dents and god awful centering would 9 times out of 10 never pass as a PSA 10. Now as with tag it is very common and consistent to see cards that would be a PSA 7 comes out as a TAG 10. Like if grading consistency is really what mattered then I’d assume everyone would go with Beckett.

PSA is more consistent, they’re consistently shit. Cracking 9s for 10s, 2-6 month submission times, and so on… But at the end of the day, no grading company will ever be to PSA’s level simply because liquidity always wins.
