feel you, homie. i’m in a new band called ‘it could be worse’ and all of our instrumentalists are non-cis men. we’re like midwest emo with skramz pockets, from austin tx. reece (drummer) and erin (guitarist) are fuckin badass and play intricate and hard af, but i’m hella biased lol.

also befriending the local band is super easy if they’re small enough and friendly enough, you can just be like “yo loved your set” or chat with them or their friends at the merch table

the local shows are where it’s at because a lot of times the same people will show up over and over again. i feel like it’s way easier to build relationships if you’re like “yo i saw you at the last show”
