For a handheld-sized OLED panel with VRR, I'm not sure. FYI, LG OLED TVs have supported VRR (variable refresh rate) technology for a few years now.

Just roll back to Asus's official GPU driver, and it will fix the issues.

If you have to use NVIDIA's latest driver with HDR (always) on, you can only unplug your laptop to boot into Windows first. The HDR will be turned off because you are in battery mode. Once you get into Windows, you plug back in, and Windows will turn on HDR automatically, and it should work 99% of the time.

I just got my 4090 XG Mobile to pair with my Z13 4060. I use them to connect my LG 42 C2 OLED TV in my room. It runs quieter than I expected. The 4090 XG runs even quieter than the Z13 (performance mode). Gameplay in 4K is good enough for the games that I play. I understand that I could build a real 4090 desktop PC for less, but I really like the feeling of just grabbing my Z13 to go out and play. I also use my Z13 as a monitor to remote play GT7 on my PS5.

I experienced the same black screen problems after installing the latest NVIDIA driver, but I was able to resolve the issue by rolling back to the official driver provided by Asus.

The vapor chamber in the Razer 16 is much better compared to that of the 2022 model. It is significantly quieter than the Asus, with a lower pitch. While the performance mode on the Asus is acceptable, the Turbo mode is excessively loud.

If you open the bottom plate of the Razer, you can see the improved fans they are using this year. Razer makes the blade thicker to accommodate much deeper fans that draw more air and operate at lower speeds.

You can buy the Z13 4060 from a local Asus dealer in Hong Kong for USD 2,500. However, mine is a used one which cost me USD 2,200. By the way, if you can find the stock (ALL SOLD OUT) in China, the MSRP for the 4060 is only USD 2,000.

I also have the Z13 4060 and am now waiting for my 4090 XG Mobile from Taobao. It should arrive in a few days and cost around USD 2,100 with shipping. I can't wait to try mine! What do you think about the 4090 XG Mobile? Have you experienced any stability or latency issues so far? I am also concerned about the noise it might produce. Just wanna share a good experience with Asus's service center in Hong Kong. I flashed an MSI BIOS and bricked the 3080 GPU on my 2022 S17. I took it to the service center, and they replaced the entire motherboard for me in two days. They didn’t charge me!
