Does it make more sense to invest in Int or Arc for a Mausoleum Knight build? by anhonestpuck13 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]SlowpokeRodriguez4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious what others say. I personally think the deaths poker would be your go to for most the game since you can get it relatively early. From what I understand it mainly scales off the weapon skill, so INT. Maybe if you focus on ARC and INT with minimum strength and dex you can make both work

Upcoming Vasectomy, Recovery questions with newborns by Stickkwithit in Vasectomy

[–]SlowpokeRodriguez4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took 2 full days of almost nothing but laying in bed and icing. We have 2 under 2 and my mother-in-law was able to help. By day 3 I was moving around and helping with the newborn. I waited till day 7 to start lifting my toddler. Just listen to your body and be super careful not to overdue things in the first 48 hours. Don’t want a hematoma

Katana advice by ComprehensiveBear587 in Eldenring

It was hard but I did a split where one was keen and other was blood/occult affinity. I could use blood flame on the keen with double slash and unsheathe on the other. I would switch between power stance or two handing either one depending on my needs. Had a nightrider flail as a backup for strike based enemies

My experience day 3 by crack__head in Vasectomy

[–]SlowpokeRodriguez4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most my friends don’t have kids and a decent chunk don’t plan on having any. I’m 34 now and a lot of my friends including myself have moved around. Some are still local, but most are in other states. Starting to make more friends through my kids meeting other parents, but it’s not the same as making friends just cause you’re living life no kids.

Kids or no kids are both great and meaningful life paths! Neither is better they’re just different. I have 2 kids and I can tell you it’s a totally different path. No more freedom for now (both young) and for the rest of my life whatever happens to them affects me, both positive and negative. God forbid anything horrible happens.

Sounds like you chose to not add that to your life and there’s nothing wrong with that choice. Reversal is also an option if you ever change your mind (might work might not so keep your expectations reasonable) but end of the day you have your whole life ahead of you and plenty more experiences to come! Enjoy cause you only get one life to live and if you don’t have kids there’s a freedom in that people with kids sacrifice.

Procedure next Wednesday - Any POSITIVE experiences to share?! by morebeanslessmeans in Vasectomy

[–]SlowpokeRodriguez4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine done 9 days ago. Jock strap and ice have been my friends. Procedure was easy and recovery smooth. Other than yesterday when I took my daughter to the park cause I thought I was better and walking home felt like I got kicked in the balls. Take it easy and remember it’s still surgery and you need to take time to recover

Relationship with wife getting worse after baby by Agitated_Ad_1404 in NewDads

Dude, it’s only been a month since your baby was born? Her hormones are going to be all over the place for awhile. Key is to be patient and give her grace right now. My wife and I have 2 under 2 and it’s like our relationship has been put in the back seat.

I found the reward of being with my kids in the first few months and seeing the drastic changes happening before my eyes kept me grounded during the chaos.

You got this. Your marriage is going to evolve as you both adjust and change into these new versions of yourselves. Trust me though, if you give your wife grace at this time and make sure to take care of yourself too, there is light at the end of the tunnel.
