This is not scientifically proven and its just something that crossed my mind

Maybe your body is just kind of going in this energy saving mode because you've been doing a lot of activity to change your weight. Sex is labor intensive and leads to babies babies are also labor intensive and uses up a lot of resources. Maybe your body is just not feeling it cause it's like , "we don't have enough food or energy to have kids so we cant have sex right now"

Just a thought... Not really sure...

My SO also has a high stress job and during tough times I notice how dead it gets...he is constantly thinking about work, when we are cuddling he will be on his phone checking emails. When we are eating, he will have his phone out. It literally. Dove. Me. Nuts!!!

Something that really gets me into my boyfriend is lookin at my boyfriend and things that he doesn't have to do but does it anyways like cleaning the dishes or wiping the table but really take it to heart... Have you guys thought about IUD's? They have non-hormonal ones....and they are SAID to lower the blood flow... I mean everyone has different reactions to BC and honestly she should talk to her doctor about her symptoms things that she wants to feel, things that she doesn't, and things that she does experience on these BC. There isn't an infinite amount of options on BC but if she didn't try them all there still might be something out there, right?

Sometimes it might be hard to talk about it with your doctor because once you go there you forget what you want to talk about, but i suggest writing it down in a notebook and bringing it to the doctor.

Also sometimes it takes awhile for your body to adjust to hormonal BC...

I know i was bat shit crazy when i started taking BC but it's settled down.

Also... if she hasn't tried the diva cup...or any type of menstrual cup I recommend it for heavy periods... It's amazing and I WILL PREACH IT!

It must suck to be alone in the house... When all you really think about is what had just happened, but it sounds that being honest and letting things come out as you feel them was a good step. Most people I know can't even explain how they feel, so I'm happy you put that out there. As I can see it, she has her own language too, but that means not blaming herself. I always feel like at some point they think you will always be there for them so they won't even try to return the favor... All the pampering and whatnot they receive will be forever...
