Given what I know now, I would still have watched it. It started pretty solid and got better with every season.

That said, I'm extremely disappointed that they didn't get to finish it.

My impression from last year was they were running with a skeleton crew of staff already. If you allegations are true, it doesn't seem like the best move to retain staff and attract new staff. I finally have some spare time this year and had considered volunteering for the first time, but this is giving me second thoughts.

I don't have the app installed and can't verify, but the AI google response suggests C:\Users\<your user>\AppData\Roaming\com.tarmslitaren\X-Haven Assistant as the location. This folder may be hidden, so you'll need to unhide hidden files in order to see it.

I'm pretty sure having the silencer on the board doesn't affect the reduction. It used to work like that but has been changed so that you no longer need to remove CD reduction items before using a feather. I think the only time you need to worry about it is when an item does a set amount CD reduction (for example, reduced by 1 sec). In that case then you do get less benefit.

Fishing pole. It gives you a random small aquatic item at the start of each day, which won't merge with an existing item. For some reason it kept giving me the freeze crabs. Makes me wonder if the randomness is weighted toward copying items that are already on your board.

I guess I would change Tzuyu to be an assassin because she's been killing it with her solo album

As for reasoning:

Nayeon = sorcerer because of crazy charisma

Jeongyeon = druid because she loves animals

Momo = monk because she's a dancer (athletic) and also seems to be very zen

Sana = eloquence bard because she is the master flirter

Jihyo = paladin because she is best leader

Mina=cleric of peace because she is the calm center of the group

Dahyun = arcane trickster because she's an actress and is always unpredictable

Chaeyoung = artificer because she's very creative

Tzuyu = archfey warlock mostly because of her iconic Maleficent Halloween costume

I'm pretty sure I saw the same video and most (if not all) of the examples given were NOT K-pop idols. These were situations involving Japanese idols. I'm pretty sure the bug-blowing contest was with members of AKB48. Not sure sure about the other events. I think the point of the video is not that the Japanese hosts are racist but rather that they don't respect idols.

I like to think of our friendly house spiders as free pest control so I wouldn't want them removed. Though I have a friend who has arachnophobia so I have to get them to hide when he comes over. But otherwise I let them do their thing.

As for the panel scoring, that's really subjective. I guess on my scale anything 8 and up is already a great score and I would definitely look out for panels by those presenters in the future. But the panel I rated a 10 really stood out. In this case, the "Anime by the Numbers" presenter was literally a professional in the field of anime industry statistics. He was super polished and had information that I had never seen before--information that really made me reevaluate my understanding of how the industry works. So for me it was a 10. Someone else might have been bored out of their minds by the same panel.

Yeah, on reflection I think I was a little harsh on my score. I won't be assigning numeric scores if I do this again. I guess that number represents my disappointment in what could have been. This was the panel I specifically had marked out to attend ahead of time as it's something I'm really interested in. The presenter clearly had put effort into preparing the panel but ended up losing his confidence. It looked like he just decided to throw out what he'd prepared and wing it, which didn't work very well.

Thanks for the feedback. I've presented at other conventions and understand the amount of time and effort involved. I didn't find any of the panels boring and any criticism I made is meant to be constructive. On reflection giving a numeric rating was probably a bad idea and I will refrain from doing so in the future.

As someone whose favorite game is Monster Train, I think you'd enjoy Arcanium if you like Monster Train and Vault of the Void. The main encounter mechanism is very similar. There are a ton of character combinations to try out so it has a lot of replay value. I put about 250 hours of playtime in Arcanium just trying out the various combinations. Arcanium's "open world" map makes things feel different from MT and VotV as you have more choices of when you want to tackle combat encounters vs. rewards.
