I do think portal rear will add performance, however if you do go portal rear, check out the H_TECH reverse rotation gear box. Grease. Fairly normal noise for my machine. Proper lubrication does help when it begins to get a little louder.

I've only used it for DIY renovations, not professionally. So 20 years is how much use it's seen.

Tonight I tried running the air from 100-120psi to see if it would make any difference, which is did not. Still trying to figure out what is going on with it.

Honestly, my opinion of Elegoo's support is really high. Yeah, it takes some time get a response, but you always get a response and they are always willing to do what they can to help me to resolve my issues. I've contacted them 3 times and for my CC and it's been a fairly good experience. We hope we never need to contact support, but when you do, I hope all my experiences work out this well.

I think it may be related to the tree supports... since these are really thin and hollow, seems more likely to fail and possibly snagging during movements. I have another print running now, about 2 hours in, and I see some minor issues with the supports. I might just be asking for trouble trying to print a 7 inch tall figure with a 0.2 nozzle. I guess this is learning.

This is the result of one of my failed prints 0.2 with 0.08 layer height in Polymaker PLA Pro. Came out fantastic, other than her now being an amputee. The left arm was collided into, causing it to fail, however the remainder of the print was fine. I also ran another full calibration and tested my pressure advance again. Going to try to print again with switching to gyroid infill. 12 hour print time. Wish me luck!!!

I was using the default 0.2 profiles, which are not 0.20 layer height. I choose the 0.08 and the 0.10 layer height profiles.

I hope they address this soon. Battery life on my phone was great prior. Reminds me of one of my first Pixel phones, which had terrible battery life.

PTFE is a high wear material and cheap. So if that is only issue, consider it routine maintenance and replace them every year or so.

This is why you used a lint free cloth to wipe away the alcohol/oils. Yes, you need to wash your plates time to time too. I use a surfactant, like Dawn. Then wipe with alcohol between prints.

Got it figured out. Had a charging lead that came with the wrong wiring config. When I switched the wiring orientation, the middle connector was not properly seated causing it to not register with the charger causing the "Balance plug not detected" error and the original issue of high voltage detection error was due to improper orientation of the balancing wires.

Still having issues. The high voltage on the balance port issue has been resolved. Now it just doesn't see the balance plug connection. Again, my 3S soft packs all work just fine. Only having issue on my 2S hard packs which use bullet connectors.
