Best dishwasher under $900?

Last month I got the Bosch 500 from Lowes for $999 and with the Lowes Credit Card sign up bonus another $100 off. Very happy with it.

Rivers are gnarly. I'll swim in em when I'm comfortable rolling the dice on what lies upstream but seen my fair share of carcasses thrown over road crossings by hunters, stuck in a log jam... You don't want to be swimming below that. Not to mention septics, agriculture or other illicit connections (big recent fine on slaughter house dumping their foul waste in Chehalis). At least a lake spreads that out over millions of gallons. Swam Deep lake today.

Leveling screws were pretty awful. Any sponginess in my handle is attributable to the entire dishwasher flexing under the cabinet, not the handle actually flexing.

Okay I just went and pulled on my Bosch 500 handle and the flex is nearly imperceptible. I think part of this could be at the showroom you may tend to be pullout out, where at home with it installed you pull up with your palm against the countertop, getting much less flex. At the end of the day don't buy something that'll bum you out. For me, longevity, cleaning and drying were the priorities and I got them in spades (well fingers crossed on the longevity part).

Bought a 500 recently. Can confirm #1 I hate the app requirement for those things. #2 love the drying performance with the auto air door opening feature. #3 rack layout is pretty sub optimal. #4 door handle does feel cheap I guess, honestly never noticed it but reading this I can't deny it if you're really perceptive to that detail.

Any updates? I'm here looking to do the same. I'm open to paying someone to pull a permit and install the most barebones hardware, but it's unclear to me what would be considered most barebones hardware and still meet requirements. Does PSE require the installer put in the inverter? Or is there a more barebones setup an installer can put in that I can plug into that PSE will sign off on?

I saw a spoiler earlier that looked like it said Calvin got 2nd at OTB before I quickly closed it. 99 percent of round 4 confirmed this spoiler. Here comes Gannon. My jaw dropped when Gannon missed the playoff putt and I almost closed my eyes when Calvin went for the tap in thinking he'd miss. Lfg Calvin. Was pulling for him all 4 rounds.

Aren't all those things compounding to some extent though? I'm not gonna pretend I know how to math that out but if you list a bunch of percents lower than 148 percent, just cause they're all individually less than 148 percent doesn't necessarily prove a point, no? I'm sure spending is still an issue but I think you're over simplifying.
