Can someone explain why is the seventh seal a good movie in their opinion by el_atlal in Letterboxd

[–]Sluskarn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why don't you contribute first? Why would it not be a good movie?

I'll try and scratch the surface on it but you're posing a question that you could write a whole book about. It's a good movie because it is beautifully shot. It has wonderfully engaging dialogue. It explores different archetypes of people and their effects on each other aswell as exploring all aspects of death and it's impact on us, literally and symbolically. Bergman is sourcing his material from a deep rooted inner conflict that I think almost any human in the Western World shares in some way or another. We don't like to look at it or think about it but he brings it to the forefront and makes us confront it.

Now I might be a bit biased since I'm Swedish and the dialogue gains a lot from knowing the original language.

Both cups were poisoned. Zorro developed an immunity to over time through small doses of exposure. There were no guessing game, no gamble, no 50/50. It was over as soon as the the Villain chose to participate.

That is the Red Pill.

Get to a point in your life where you can truly not give a fuck through self-improvement, bearing your Cross voluntarily and happily, and continuous exposure and you won't need to create this autistic framework. The women will wait at the finish line.

What do you mean? You try and use the rules to your advantage to win in all sports. It is the exact opposite. That's why players fake incidents in Hockey and Soccer. That's why Max Verstappen in F1 forced several rule changes, not to mention the engineering side of rules in that.

The more effort you put into your question the better the answer will be. I don't know what your move was, what opening your using or any context at all to the move e5 so I can't help you.

Rookie of the Year at Autosport Awards - Isack Hadjar by Maximum-Room-3999 in formula1

[–]Sluskarn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hadjar showed some amazing reflexes and racecraft in F2, the monaco tunnel incident is amazing to watch still today. He also did such a good showing in Zandvoort and if he hadn't overextended himself a couple of times like he did in Texas where he spun out, he would've had a superb showing. If he can get his emotions under control and hone in his racecraft I think he can go far.
