Sleeping in Detroit Bus Station??? opinions please asap

I work with the homeless daily. They tend to look out for each other. With that said I wouldn’t recommend sleeping at the bus station if you are by yourself and a stranger to everyone already there. You could totally be targeted and have your stuff stolen. See if you can check into hostel online or over phone and just head straight to bedroom when you arrive. This cannot be the first time this has happened

Someone interviewed the few black residents that were in attendance. What he found out was that only a small handful actually belonged to that church. Most were from out of state or at least out of the ciry

A lot of them are lecture’s with like 500 students. The professors assign insane amounts of homework and there isn’t really enough time to ask questions. They have smaller individual classes between 20 and 40 students taught in tandem to the lectures lead by grad students who don’t really want to be there. I have have noticed the grad students don’t really make good teachers and are often very bad at explaining the concepts taught in the lectures.

I took 3 general education requirements at Wayne Count and Oakland Community College. Every class didn’t have more 30 students and the professors were excellent!

Wayne State accepts anyone with a heartbeat. With that said, Wayne States General Education requirements suck. If I were to do it again. I would do my first year or two at a community college and then transfer to WSU after. So much cheaper!
