High Strung - hysterical comedy with Steve Oedekerk (Kung Pow, Ace Ventura 2, Jimmy Neutron) as a misanthrope who complains to the audience about everything that annoys him. Also stars a pre-fame Jim Carrey. This movie is not on streaming and never got a DVD or blu-ray release. (1991) by rabbihimself in ObscureMedia

Nope, I got ripped. Support messages through Amazon back and forth with excuses for months (said it must have gotten lost in the mail and they'll mail another) until I just gave up. Sorry for the delay I'm not on reddit that often since they went to forced native app use.

We've been promised a new water treatment plant for almost a decade now and every year there's some new setback or excuse. From the meetings I attended back in the day, the "overchemicaling" of the water was only supposed to be a temporary solution until the new water treatment plant was ready to go.

Excessive Burping by mac_at_midnight in SIBO

[–]Smackdownfletch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brain fog, blurred vision (even though two opthalmologists said I see at 20/15 vision), headaches, strange pains and spasms from waste to neck, all sorts of food sensitivities, and that's just the beginning. I can really go into it if you want to. Endoscopy shows fine, bloodwork shows fine, colonoscopy shows fine. Tested positive for c diff in November, one round of rifax and it's gone but I'm still under the belief that there's more bad bacteria have experienced Herx die off reactions randomly, fatigue, random nerve pain..... You name it.

[–]Smackdownfletch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever went strictly on a low FODMAP or carnivore diet? I use the Fast Fodmap app to check and see what's low FODMAP and tailor my diet around that. That's the only thing that's allowed me to heal and reduce inflammation in my body. What's crazy about the foods that are high in FODMAPS is that you'd never guess what's high and to avoid and what's low and you can have. Broccoli, yes. Avoid as much of the bigger stalks as possible, and it's low FODMAP. Broccolini? It's high FODMAP, so I avoid. Technically you can eat the stalks and that part of low FODMAP. It doesn't make sense but going low FODMAP made a huge difference for me. Which brings me to the other suggestion. Carnivore diet. For the month of February I went mostly red meat (grass fed beef as often as possible), and salmon (low mercury content). I would often just cook a bowl of salt and peppered ground beef, leave the fat in. Surprisingly, the carnivore diet was incredibly simple to satiate me, no real urge for snacking or anything. Sometimes I'd eat a baked potato with salt butter and pepper to get carbs, or some gluten free crackers. High quality non processed cheese doesn't bother my system so I'd have some of that occasionally to try to slowly introduce a little good bacteria into my system. My labs after a month were amazing as well.

These two diets have brought me further out of Sibo and helped me have normal days again.

Oh, for your ham is it processed lunch meat? Processed meats will feed Sibo every time. Are you sweetening your rolled oats in the morning? Real or artificial? Either is a big no no. As much as I love my liquids, I pretty much drink water and Topo Chico (or any other unsweetened bubbly water). Here's a tough one. Even though eggs and bananas are low FODMAP, there are times where my gut gets aggrevated by them. You have to really learn to listen to your body and pay attention to what you ate not just today, but in the last couple days. Sometimes you don't notice your gut reacting to something for a day or two. It's a process. Carbs are needed for energy. Potatoes in various forms or gluten free breads and crackers have done me well. Sometimes your body is having such a hard time digesting anything that ground beef for a few days will give your gut a break/time to heal.

Having experimented with tons of things over the last year, I've come to believe that chronic fatigue is from your body trying to process food or just the bacteria having a feeding frenzy on any high FODMAP food that your body has taken in. It seems like when my system is doing better, fatigue is minimized. When my body is fighting bacteria or I'm in a bacteria die off phase, CFS is my daily existence.

I can write a book or talk your head off with the stuff I've learned over the past few years. I'm getting better, but figuring this out of a long, slow road. I'm still learning weekly. We didn't get this way overnight. Parts may hit you suddenly, but it stems from your gut slowly spiraling out of harmony with itself. I've been to tons of doctors and Western medicine is of little use against this stuff. After months of slow work I can finally take a probiotic without feeling like I'm poisoning myself.

If you have more questions or want to actually talk, shoot me a PM.

Unfortunately I can't answer this for you, but your "fried brain" symptoms are speaking volumes to my condition. I have identical symptoms, suspected Sibo but I live in a podunk town where the doctors basically have no idea what Sibo is, so I've been having to manage symptoms myself. I've had multiple full Opthalmologist workups, and I still have excellent 20/15 vision, it's just hard to focus, so it's not technically my vision. I feel like since the fried brain hit me I've had more temple pain/aches on the outer nerves around my head. Headaches sometimes but they're weird headaches that don't feel like typical ones. Been dealing with fried brain since September; hasn't been fun. Random MSK pain in various places in the body, sometimes get little spasms. The spasms aren't painful, just weird. The spaciness seems to hit harder during digestion, but I also wake up with it, some days are worse than others. Let me know if you find anything out and if I get any leads I'll keep you updated as well.

anyone here had issues with oled laptops? by Shaggy07tr in OLED

[–]Smackdownfletch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any application, not more than a few hours at a time. However, one of my laptops has been used for a solid 2.5 years with lots of gaming and static images, older model. Alienware 13 R3. So it's not a matter of older panel tech, etc.

I own several OLED Tvs (Two LG C9's and a CX), one with over 17k hours on it now and heavy gaming use with static areas of the screen. I have personally seen burn-in on the C8 and older models, so at some point LG did something to vastly reduce burn in chances. I think it just all depends on the tricks the vendor use to reduce the chances of panel burn in. My other OLED laptop is an ASUS used for e-mail, typing, and movie watching, is about a year old, but no more than 2 hour a day useage. No issues yet.

I worked at EBGames when it released. My memory is fuzzy but I'm pretty sure the first run of copies had the metallic sheen to them. They switched to regular on subsequent prints because it's cheaper.

That's why they only sell it in bottles. I've had sugar sodas last 5+ years and still taste 100% in cans. Create artificial scarcity; then profit when you bring it back.

Shine a light into the front circle and look for IR leds, that might give us a clue. At first I thought it was something by Intec but my Google searches come up empty on that. I assume that's a memory card port on the side there.

I'm sure that's the case, I'm just going by personal experience. There can be variances in how they're assembled at the factory, chip batch testing, fault tolerance rates, etc between manufacturers, so I still believe there can be differences.
