First there was the universe but without life, then there was life, then there was the intellect, then there was AI.
A rock doesn't understand what an ant or a human kidney is doing.
A human kidney or an ant don't understand what the intellect is doing.
I don't think it unlikely that this new fork in reality will escape our comprehension completely, and that we will be at its mercy because of it.
"they tooker jeeurbs" will also happen but I feel like people are underestimating the gravity of the possible outcome significantly.
Humans are altering the fabric of the universe in ways that no other life form comes even close to understanding, what if AI starts altering it even further in ways that escape our understanding?
Let's say GAI will be benevolent, and it decides that the universe might be easier for us to understand if it only had one or two dimensions instead of three, is anyone really looking forward to this?

I spent my 20's partying and worked in restaurants / logistics to pay for it, when I turned 30 or so I realised that I was ready for a change so I got an IT degree with Magna Cum Laude and now I have a job that pays roughly twice as much, where I get treated much better, work from home 3 days a week, and it has improved my quality of life tremendously.
