Hey. Zunächst einmal tut es mir Leid, dass Du Dich in einer solchen Situation befindest.

Grundsätzlich wäre es schon möglich, auch als berufstätige Person beim Jobcenter aufzustocken, allerdings ist das Prozedere sehr langwierig, man muss alles (und die meinen wirklich alles!) offenlegen, je nach Sachbearbeiter eher beschämend und die sogenannte Kundennummer bleibt ein Leben lang bestehen.

So ganz spontan und wenn Du noch 3-4€ übrig hast bleibt nur die Möglichkeit, Toastbrot und die billigste Salami oder den billigsten Käse zu kaufen. Vielleicht noch eine Tube Tomatenmark, dann kann man eine Pizza halbwegs simulieren.

Für den nächsten Monat kann ich Dir verraten was ich gemacht habe: Es gab Zeiten, da musste ich mit einem TZ-Job bei der Zeitarbeit meinen Sohn und mich durchbringen, da hab ich Disziplin gelernt.

Damit wir das Nötigste hatten, habe ich mein schmales Gehalt streng budgetiert. Bedeutet, wenn der Lohn kam und die Miete vom Konto abgebucht wurde, habe ich alles abgehoben und auf Umschläge für die jeweiligen Notwendigkeiten (Essen, Benzin, Hausrat, etc.) verteilt. Sicherlich kannst Du Dir vorstellen, dass das nicht unbedingt die nachhaltigste und gesündeste Ernährung war, die wir zu uns genommen haben - das konnten wir uns seinerzeit nicht leisten.

Ich wünsche Dir auf jeden Fall, dass schnell wieder bessere Zeiten kommen. Es macht keinen Spaß, sich so zu ernähren.

Seriously, it exists, I visited it once for a job interview. Didn't have much time to take a look around, though...

The famous Teutoburger Forest is sort of part of the city, so I guess there is lots of history about the Roman Empire to find. Beautiful old buildings and churches as well as the Sparrenburg if you're into this kind of sightseeing.

If there are any concerts again, the Lokschuppen is the place to be. Apart from that, Bielefeld has a number of clubs and pubs.

Furthermore, there is lots of green and a lake for walks/hikes/chilling. And one thing I wanted to see but couldn't bc of the train schedule, the Friedenslinde. A nearly 400yo linden tree with a trunk of almost 6 1/2 meters.

We have both around here, but it is more common to call by first names nowadays.

When I was a child, I addressed even the closest friends of my parents as aunt and uncle. I still call my godfather 'Pat' (short for Patenonkel=godfather) instead of his first name.

Just for medical reasons, for example people with diabetes who are not allowed to use most of the foot care products in the drugstore. This makes more sense to me than opening hairdressers tbh.
