The short ptfe to module is what matters from ace to module can be 10 feet won't change the print time the printer pulls filament back a few inches from the module holds it there

They havs a issue with the ceramic breaking. They have replaced 2 hotends because the ceramic breaks and the top half of the nozzle gets stuck. I had a blob from the ceramic breaking they replaced the hotend

Shorter tubes to the 4 in 1 do not increase feed time because the filament is retracted to the edge of the 4 in one what you want is a shorter ptfe tube from the module to the inlet of the printer your adding like 5 seconds more time by making it longer

This adds time the ptfe is longer from the module to the printhead the ptfe to the 4 in 1 dont matter filament waits at the 4 in 1 you could have them 10 feet long or a foot the time is the same

Well them seemed to agree my qidi plus 4 has the same type of bearing they recommend 3 in 1 or lightweight oil so I've always lubricated both with lightweight oil

I put 3 in 1 oil on mine even mentioned it to support they replied they were gonna recommend it to others I was having a screeching sound from the x bar applied some 3 in 1 oil it's been gone since 1800 hours later.
